So i have started playing sims 3 last week and gotten a great fisherwoman, etc. in a family.  DLing the Late Night Expansion pack from Steam right now - how do you transfer a family over?

If you can, do their inventory still show up?   And are there death fishes in Bridgeport? :)

Moving towns is simple, here is the part of Carl's Guide which describes how to move towns. Just scroll down to the part with the three 'options' and it describes how to move the whole family plus the house or just the family to the new town, as well as how to take all their belongings with them. :)

About the deathfish in Bridgeport, you find them in the pond at the cemetery in Bridgeport, but you can only catch them after midnight. :)

Thanks, so i guess it's better to just get 10 fish in my inventory for angelfish and death fish before i move over (and putting them into 2 separate ponds) - and perhaps the catfish as well.

Hmmm tried moving the entire house over to a lot and can't get into the house. :)

Might have to only move the sims then.

What do you mean? Your sims can't get into the house? Perhaps it's some sort of routing issue? Bridgeport is quite horrible for routing issues.. Perhaps try another lot, if the house was working in your old town then the problem must be the current lot or the way you have positioned the house.
