You're a Pern fan, Pam?

I love the way kids play with teddy bears.  With my first toddler, I spent ages hitting the pause button and snapping pictures from various angles, because she was just so cute with her bear!

I usually try to keep one unemployed adult in the house who has time to both look after the baby and their needs, so if they get up in the middle of the night, they can nap in the day.  I will say that I consider the babies' fast dropping bars to be no more than a nod to realism.  When I had my son, I don't recall having anywhere near as much time to attend to my needs as the Sims do.  My bars were all in the red for a good six weeks!

It's suprisingly easy to look after kids in the Legacy Famillies past Gen 2, you normaly have a Self Employed (Gardener, Painter, Writer etc.) or some Retired Grandparents to help. My Legacy family the Mum, Dad, Grandad and Grandmother all run for a needy baby/toddler, its almost wierd!

Yes!  Yes, I am!  I'm thrilled that someone recognized the name!!  I named Mnementh's little sister Ramoth.  Pern is my favorite story of all time.  I've read all 20 or so books, both by Anne McCaffrey and her son Todd.  Look at my walkthrough for Surrounded by Family and you'll see my devotion to Pern again.
