Dang, so the swimming pool is out.

And fires don't work. My sim has a fireplace which is constantly catching fire but nothing happens. He just puts it out.
In Sims 1 they died in fires all the time, basically if you didn't have a firealarm they'd die. They would just get really close to the fire and panic and you couldn't get them to put it out or move away. Now they're so smart...

Take them to your house.  Start cooking something, then go outside and remove the door.  They will catch fire.

We're talking about ways to make them die without using anything in build or buy mode...  just by playing the game.

Hi all...Pam, have you thought of putting a couple of sims in pool with needs low and make them have a hold breath contest...worked for one of my sim townies as he did it on his own.  Next thing I know, grim reaper is strolling around and I got a couple of sims passing out and dropping like flies. 

That may work.

Oh, good idea on the hold breath contest.  And that would count as a "legal" death, too.  Interesting.

I'm with PJSim though, it would be nice to have evil sims kill off other sims.
They do get wishes to see the ghost, so why not let 'em kill?

Yeah, like kleptomaniacs can "Swipe something" evil sims should be able to "Kill someone".

I guess if you're into mods there is one where sims do murder other sims.    Someone at sims 3 forum had posted a youtube video where a sim stabbed several sims with a large knife.    Looked really gruesome and way too realistic, especially for the T rating.    Definitely not my cuppa tea.

Yeah I thought so too PJ, but didn't want to get up on a soapbox and go on and on about how there's enough of ppl killing ppl in RL to have it in game.  But again I guess there's just as violent stuff in other games and teens play those.  Oh well.

A sick buffet of death, I invited over a party of ten, got 8 or so trapped in a room and closed it off. They kept grabbing food from the buffet tables. It should be covered on http://www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/lifetimewishes/emperorofevil.php

it was disgusting. I got a good pic of the maids coming to clean up the mess they made. Two of the cleaners showed up instead of one, and they completed their entire shift working trying to cover it all. At the end of their shift the rest of the nastiness just disappeared.... My Sim stood over the countertops (he wanted to see their suffering). He was able to taunt and scare them over the counters. It was overall pretty fun to watch in a sick sort of way.
