Do you think the town would repopulate if I kill all the townies? Wonder if it would end being a true "ghost" town!?

It'll be my sim experiment for Halloween.

That sounds like a great idea!    I don't know if the town would repopulate on it's own if you kill them all, but I know someone said they did that and repopulated their town with ghosts!    Now she really has a GHOST town.

Oh yeah, names names...what a pain.   I know when I try to think of a name I usually draw a blank.  It's better when I don't try so hard and usually one will pop into my head.

Yeah, that's what I'm wondering too. Sure, you can invite sims over to your house and remove the door, the fridge, etc so the sims starve. But, that would get really old after a while.

You want *pure* evil? Crib next to stove + forgetful Sim cooking waffles, 'nuff said.

Anyway, yeah it does get old killing Sims with barricades. I wonder if the flaming crib would be a solution for getting rid of a baby. Some people starve them until the social workers come and take *all* of them....

I tried to follow Carl's method of torturing sims in his "Emperor of Evil" walkthrough.
I couldnt get to kill them by isolation but I managed to keep a "Prison Cell" for the "Guests".
A 3x2 room with the cheap tv and lousy chair as bait and a double-width window to seal them off.

Yeah adding a window to the torture room, or in the case of the buffet of death a countertop the Sim can see over to mock them... those are the touches that make a Sim truly evil. They like to watch!

You can also wall off a swimming pool.

It's too bad you don't get a "Kill Sim" interaction when you click on other sims.

Electrocution is really the only way to kill them without cheating.  They try to fix an electrical appliance and they get shocked.  Then if you send them back to fix it again, it will kill them.  The other ways all require cheating by building barracades or removing doors, etc.  That bugs me for some reason because it's not part of the gameplay.

Very true. I think you might be able to drown your sim if you keep making them get in the pool when they're tired but I've yet to test that. But none of these methods work on guests.
Like I said, there should be a "Kill Sim" option which then may or may not work and might even backfire if the other sim was bigger or smarter than yours. Now that would be interesting.

I tried to do the drowning by making an exhausted Sim keep swimming.  Every time I put him in the pool (his energy bar was solid red), he would get a no swimming thought over his head and then just get out of the pool.  I put him back in it at least a dozen times and every time he would get that no swimming thought and get out.  I finally gave up.  And I'm sure fire can cause death without using barricades.  I think Carl has had a fiery death without meaning to when his Sim cooked waffles.  Mine have been very fortunate so far with fires.  They just put them out with only minimal damage.
