Every Lifetime Wish
« on: February 11, 2012, 07:00:02 PM »
My plan is to work my way though every lifetime wish available to Sims and blogging about... I might not blog a story but just about the wish itself.  I would love to have people follow along and offer comments when I get to certain wishes.  I know there will be some I find really hard (the Heartbreaker one for example I'm not looking forward too!) And before you ask Yes I am playing with cheats and mods.  I'd look at "My Plan" page for details.

Follow along with my LTW project on my BLOG.

All comments welcome.

:)

This isn't an official Forum project, is it?  I don't recall seeing a set of rules submitted for approval as a project.  Is this your own creation?

Yes, sort of.  We have Forum sponsored projects where the author of the project has submitted it to Metro and me for approval.  Once approved, the project gets added to the official list along with a link to the rules for that project.  Something that players do on their own isn't considered a project in our Forum terminology.  So, you've got a couple of options:

1.  You could submit the rules to us for the possibility of having it become an official Forum project.  Here's the thread with instructions.

2.  You can just have your thread moved to the Miscellaneous Stories board.  If you want to do this, let me know and I'll move it for you.

Thanks for the info. Sorry I posted it all wrong.  If you could move it to Miscellaneous Stories that would be great.  If it works out I might go and make it official.  Work out kinks ad glitches, figure out the details.

Thanks.

:)

No problem, I'll move it for you.  I'll also remove the word "project" from the subject so it's not confusing.

So just finished the Astronaut life time wish and moving on to Super Star Athlete.  The Astronaut LTW took me 20 days to complete.  I have to remember to ask my boss for promotions out of work hours!

Thanks Teacup!

So far it seems an actual project I might finish.  I tend to get bored easily so legacy challenges are hard.  This one I keep changing everything (every 20 Sim days or so it seems) so it suits my ADD gaming habits!  It also lets me touch on LTW's I never touch on.

:D

I get a bit bored too( Guilty Moodlet lol)
I know there will be some I find really hard (the Heartbreaker one for example I'm not looking forward too!)(quote) Is this because you feel bad for your Sims (I know I do ) ,but then I suppose if you are only going to spend about 20 days or so with them you could class them as science experiments lol  :P ( NOT THAT I AGREE with any form of testing in real life)

judewright - have fun with it, I might make it into a 'challenge' with points and such, but I think I'll play in through once myself to work out details.

Teacup Chihuahua - I do feel bad for my Sim when I do the heart breaker LTW... I would never do that in real life, why make my sim do it!   But as you said, if I spend only about 20 days on it, I guess I can (my Sim can) be mean for 20 days.

:D

11 days to complete my athletic career.  Didn't help my boss died when I was asking for a promotion.  Also I heard there was a glitch that you never win a game... is this true?  I played two of them (before completing this LTW) and lost both.  My Sim was static needs and best friends with everyone and happy as can be and 'prepared for game' while at work.... anything I missed?

I'll complete the career (level 10) before moving on to my next LTW.  (The Athletic LTW has you go to level 9 of your career.)

Next wish - Bottomless Nectar Cellar... France here we come!

I read that in the guide so I'm trying to get life fruit and pomegranates but so far only have found one life fruit seed in Twinbrooks (town I'm playing)  So I had to wait for it to grow, then get more fruit, and plant those, etc.  I have three life fruit right now.  My trip to France yielded me much more luck with about three pomegranate, four plums, and twelve pomelos, and of course grapes.  So I'm working on skilling up (with apples and limes) while my exotic fruit is growing.  Still taking a long time (why wont fruit grow instantly!! hah! :P )
