New World Coming To The Store - Lunar Lakes

Just bought it today and took a curious look around at the families, community centers and some of the houses. Most houses are very small and due to the weird shapes can be a problem for furniture inside.

I'm surprised they didn't add some cool future furniture. These space age houses look kind of funny with Victorian furniture in some. Guess the transplants wanted a reminder of earth.

Love the tree! Using it in my present game until I start one in Lunar Lakes, and my sim went from 0 in gardening to 2 and learned inventing and phitigraphy. This is definitely a plus to the game, even if you don't play the town!

They did add a couple. There's 3 new chairs (office, regular, dining) a couch, a door and a dining room table and a couple other things. It's a shame they didn't add more though.

Oh dear, oh dear. What with the new expansion, More Magic sets, this world and my inability to buy SimPoints directly from the site (I have to buy the 1000-point packs which are more expensive), I think I'm going to be very, very poor soon. Oh EA, why do you tempt meeeee???

Fruit of the Mind (blue) - charisma, inventing, writing, handiness and logic

Fruit of the Soul (purple) - writing, painting, sculpting, photography and guitar

It also turns yellow if you leave it alone, that one is called 'Abundance'. I suspect it gives you any skill when it's on that one as I received fishing.

Ok first the Tree of Prosperity had me sold then the added pictures just made it worse! So I will be getting in sooner or later although I am not sure when. I still need to pre-order my copy of Showtime!

Can you have more than triplets? It makes me wonder if it would be possible if you had a fertility treatment, and listened to kids radio, and watched kids tv, and THEN ate the fruit of abundance!

If anyone has spare points after buying this world, you could get the future shock living and kitchen sets - they would suit this world perfectly. I also think my Space Pod would fit in well here! Here's a picture of some of the future shock items used in the store version of this house:



The green rings of light are because everything has been upgraded scientifically with different moodlets for maximum benefit.

Also, the hover bed LTR goes well too

Maybe recolouring furniture to include chrome, plastic and leather instead of fabrics and wood might work too.

Before Lunar Lakes was announced, I actually saw a World practically the same as Lunar Lakes, on an another website, which even included the strange trees. This was three or four months ago.

We've had access to those trees for a while now.  They were put in with a patch.

I played it a little last night. I purchased it as a "happy birthday to me" type of thing. The decor and recolors are actually quite nice. A lot more out of the box than I would ever come up with. It fits though.

How long did you leave it alone for? I'm doing a test run and have 5 trees that I haven't picked for 2 Sim weeks so far and they only cycle between the four colours.
