Oh!  That sounds great. Can't wait to see it. I wonder when it's going to be released. Thanks for sharing the information.  :)

Ya know, I'm just waiting to see.

If this turns out to be a new world where it's just a new setting and Sims act like they do if you plopped them down in SV I'll pass. If it adds new game play I might invest in it. EA really disappointed me with Hidden Springs and the "mysterious" new Sims that lived there. I mean they just turned out to be Sims with greenish skin.

I like Hidden Springs as just the World it is though, I think that's because I didn't have any expectations of getting it and/or that it would have magical elves anyway. So I guess my expectations wouldn't have been as high as yours?

I don't think I was expecting magical elves, but maybe something new in actual game play.  That's just me though. I'm one of those people who need to be wowed occasionally and I just haven't been wowed by EA in quite some time. Thinking back it was about the time Ambitions came out.  It's just that the things that have come out since then don't make me feel like I want to do them over and over and I realize I'm buying EPs and SPs for the new items and not game play.

But like I said, that's just me. I'm sure a lot of people will like Lunar Lake.

I totally agree. So when I bought my new computer, I did not install Hidden Springs or Riverview. I don't like the towns or the sims. I'll wait to see what they show us with this one. BUT, I bet they did it because of Union Cove!

Based on this logo, I'm going to go with this one is going to be space age themed.  The Logo above shows the little circles like all their atomic sets on the store.

They had more or less announced that the upcoming world would be Sci-Fi based. Although that doesn't mean much with EA. It's probably just "sci-fi looking" and not "sci-fi gameplay added", same story than with Hidden Springs or Barnacle Bay. And when you can find great worlds for free....

Looking closely at the trees, they seem to be the ones added by the last patch.

Looks awesome! Very excited for a sci-fi themed world, perhaps there will be blue sims all around town this time? ;) I was sort of hoping for an alien-themed expansion but hey, perhaps the world is a clue! I shall not lose hope. ;D

Does this remind anyone of Strangetown from Sims 2? I'm already looking forward to this world now!

Must be on the pricey side. They are offering 20% on Simpoints between now and then using the code word simheart.

I might get this if it includes new world objects.  I enjoy messing around with things like that.  I've been goofing around with a number of world objects from the expansion packs on residential builds.  I still want to get my hands on Hidden Springs for that very reason lol.
