Photography Featured Pics

In the Photography Guide, I would like to have a pic at the top of each of the photograph collections (I'll work on correcting the collections' subjects during this phase). For example, we currently have an excellent shot of doubly dead. I'll invite you to share your pictures for the collections that don't have a picture. Please try to submit those that are interesting -- ex. Doubly Dead. Of course I recognize that some shrubbery cannot be made interesting, but focus on the the artistic/scenic/interesting side when submitting a picture for the article.

This is also a good time to provide your tips to completing certain collections. I'm going to break that whopper down into a multi-page guide and we can really beautify and improve it.

If it's no big deal, could you specify which ones might be interesting to you? Cause what I find interesting might not be interesting to you. With them specified, we could start hunting for the pictures.

For the Pictures do they have to be taken with a camera or can we just take a picture normally?

They would need to be taken with the camera.  Otherwise, it wouldn't be a photography featured picture.  You'll also need to identify what the subject is.

Edit:  Oops!  I was mistaken on this.  It doesn't need to be taken through the camera, as Carl states below.

If you mean just take the pictures from your Sim's camera once they have taken it, I've completed several of the collections with one Sim, maybe I could be of some help.

Thanks for the responses. If you would like to send one, tell me what it is and email it to [email protected]  that way I can get the highest quality images instead of those coming from some place like photo bucket.

I'll look over what ones might be interesting later tonight.

Well I'd be very glad to help you, but are you looking for a screen shot of a Sim taking the picture, or do you want the picture that comes from the Sim's camera that is within their inventory?
If it is the second then you will have to tell me how I could get that picture to you..

You could just get a normal screenshot of the subject, photography doesn't need to be involved so long as it's the right thing we're looking at in the shot. Sorry I couldn't make it back on to make selections. I'll try to do it asap. A little burdened by school. Lately I'm a 'weekend simmer/webmaster' and can only do so much during the week....finals coming up

Is it possible to have a list on here so we cans ee what hasn't been done and what has? Just asking, otherwise you may get loads of pictures of one subject!

Apologies for the goof, and that's a great point samoht. I'm going to pull out my Sim's camera this weekend and as you say prevent mass submission, I'll grab some of my own for each category and offer you folks to try to beat the one I have. I realize now how generic some categories are and that not every category can be really 'interesting' but it'll be better if I start a standard. I'll lock this thread until this has been done then unlock/bump this post to bring it back to your attention. Thanks.
