The ending was so beautiful. I actually had to wipe away a few tears by the end of it. Thank you for sharing this story with us, really.

That was a beautiful ending. I honestly think that if you expanded it a little than it could be a novel.
If at first you don't succeed, call it version 1.0.

I too have really enjoyed this story.  I can almost see this as a movie too, besides a book.  I will truly miss reading more.

This was such a beautiful story. I loved the ending, but I am sad to see it end. You are an amazing writer, Apples. :)

I'm only at chapter 5 and I haven't read any of the latest posts in case they give anything away—this story is wonderful! You have a marvelous talent for character development and your writing just flows so beautifully, dialogue and all! It's as engaging as a good novel (and I'm an extreme bookworm, so I know a good novel!). Have you ever participated in NaNoWriMo? Have you ever considered writing professionally, blogging or novel-writing or SOMEthing?? I would encourage you to pursue it. You have quite a talent. :) (Just don't stop writing here! ;))

Apples, is there any way you could upload Aliyah, Cayden, Bindi, Mae, and Tita to the Swap Shop? I would love to play with these sims. You've given them such life. :)

Here is where everyone downloads Aliyah and Cayden and gives them a happy ending! (not that the ending wasn't happy, it was bittersweet)...or they torment Cayden, although Aliyah had her moments of aggravation, too.

I would have run off with him, no lie.

I was thinking the same thing. All thru high school, I was drawn to the "bad boy" in school. I was cheering Aliyah on to just give up and run away with Cayden and be happy.

Ah, but would she have been happy? Maybe they could have been happy if she and Cayden had stayed together through their college years and she'd been able to keep him on track. I don't know.

In my simland, Cayden and Aliyah are a happy couple. :) It was hard, because of their contradicting traits, but I finally got them together.
