Nooboo *happy dance, happy dance*
If only painting kitchens was as easy as it is on Sims. Choose it, colour it then "shift" it  :P

I'm looking forward to the nooboo. Did you notice this is the chapter title? " Chapter 122 12/12/12" :o

Yeah, I'm wondering about Gabrielle's not-as-generic looks. Original townie offspring, plastic surgery, or some other tricks you're withholding from us?

Anyways, she looks about 10.8 billion times better without that green hair.

Ah! Gabrielle... I love Sims with upturned mouth corners. I hope generation eight inherits those.
This was hilarious. The tit for tat between Subject and Watcher always amuses me.
Hehe! I'm with Marion on the car... hardly a people carrier, is it?  ;D

Original townie offspring. She's the daughter of Erik Mosqueda (I think that's his surname), who lived with the Crumplesteels until his death in Chapter 113.

ArianaJade, I finally caught up on this story yesterday, and I love it! I can't wait to see what Daniel and Gabrielle's baby is like.  :D

Nooboo! Nooboo!

I only wish to make it to your number of generations. Gabi's hair is so shimmery and...not green-brown yay?

Ya-ay -- new nooboo on the way. How are they all going to get home in Daniel's one-seater?

They might have to get the bus.

"Run on Windows Vista. That explains it."

Been there.  :D

Great update! Is Erik an original townie? Because Gabrielle looks different than story progression townies do.

Yep, like Ausette said he was an original townie, he's a child when a new game starts. Her mum though I think was a story progression townie, probably how she got her original hair colour.

I know! I said that to my boyfriend when we were painting it. He doesn't like the sims though so he wasn't that impressed!

Oh yeah!

Original townie. I don't have Pets so there'll be no plastic surgery in this game (I'm too scared to move the file over onto my new computer which can handle Pets...). And yeah, that green hair helps no sim.

Unfortunately I don't think mid-life crisis cars are ever sensible... Writing for one is very fun though, especially grumpy Daniel. The watcher and him never see eye-to-eye at the best of times!

Thanks Ausette! I'm hopefully going to be able to update in a bit with the nooboo.

Nooboo! Nooboo!

I'm sure you will make it to this stage! Trick is to play slowly I think, the first attempt I did I wasn't really paying attention and kept fast forwarding to the interesting bits - and accidentally married Agnes to a vamp Chris. So this is technically my second attempt at this challenge, because the first one only made it to Week 1, Day 2.

It's a Girl

Meet the newest little CrumpleSteel, generation 8.

Daniel's in shock.

Daniel: She's tiny. How is she so tiny?

Gabrielle: If you want her bigger, then you can be the one that gives birth next time.

Daniel: She's so tiny. Really tiny. With tiny fingers and tiny toes...

She has no toes, she's a burrito.

Gabrielle: I thought it was supposed to be my brain that went fuzzy after all that gas and air.

He was helping himself when nobody was looking.

Gabrielle: She's so tiny.

Not you too.

We've bought a Bonehilda. With a child in the house now, extra help is useful.

She loves tidying, whereas Gabrielle and Daniel are fairly tidying-averse.

And Daniel's terrified of her.

Daniel: She's a skeleton! Which moves! And tidies!

Daniel: What if I drop her?

You won't.

Daniel: Maybe I'll just put her away.

I'm not sure you put a baby away, that sounds like you're going to put her in a cupboard.

Daniel: Maybe a cupboard would be safer. What happens if she falls through the bars of the cot?

To take him out of Gabrielle's way away from worrying about the baby, Daniel goes to Sophie and Caitlyn's party.

Daniel: So, I've got married, had a kid, had a bit of a midlife crisis. What've you been up to, Soph? Travel? Babies?

Sophie: Nothing. Not being the active household anymore kinda puts a damper on things.

Daniel: Sorry. It's the rules.

Sophie: They're stupid rules.

Remember Daniel's cousin Rosa? She's now an elder with a silly hat.

Meanwhile, at home, Gabrielle ages up with just Bonehilda and the baby.

Gabrielle: I prefer it. Nobody can see me get wrinkles that way.

Bonehilda and the baby do both have eyes, but they were too busy bonding. As much as a burrito and a skeleton can bond, anyway.

Gabrielle: Neither of us are getting any younger, and it'd be nice to have another child, don't you think?

Daniel: Have we got enough vegetables in for a stew tonight?

Gabrielle: Hmm.

You're not so scared of holding her now then?

Daniel: Nope. If a skeleton can hold her, so can I. And anyway she's tiny enough that she'll fall slowly because she doesn't weigh anything.

I don't know if that's how gravity works.

And another birthday for this update, the burrito becomes a real person in her own right.

Daniel: I'm going to miss her tininess.

Gabrielle: I'm not going to miss you going on about her tininess.

And here we have it. One toddler. Let's see who she looks like.

Place your bets...

...NOW.

N'awww. All cute, but eyes and hair from Gabrielle and a little bit of Daniel's face shape.

And is there another one on the way?

I think I've fixed the last picture now! Thanks. And yeah, I'd agree she's adorable but I might be biased.

Oh Daniel. I'm sure he'll be wonderful during the teen years...paranoid about his daughter doing just about anything.
