It's a GirlMeet the newest little CrumpleSteel, generation 8.
Daniel's in shock.
Daniel: She's tiny. How is she so tiny?
Gabrielle: If you want her bigger, then you can be the one that gives birth next time.
Daniel: She's so tiny. Really tiny. With tiny fingers and tiny toes...
She has no toes, she's a burrito.
Gabrielle: I thought it was supposed to be my brain that went fuzzy after all that gas and air.
He was helping himself when nobody was looking.
Gabrielle: She's so tiny.
Not you too.
We've bought a Bonehilda. With a child in the house now, extra help is useful.
She loves tidying, whereas Gabrielle and Daniel are fairly tidying-averse.
And Daniel's terrified of her.
Daniel: She's a skeleton! Which moves! And tidies!
Daniel: What if I drop her?
You won't.
Daniel: Maybe I'll just put her away.
I'm not sure you put a baby away, that sounds like you're going to put her in a cupboard.
Daniel: Maybe a cupboard would be safer. What happens if she falls through the bars of the cot?
To take him
out of Gabrielle's way away from worrying about the baby, Daniel goes to Sophie and Caitlyn's party.
Daniel: So, I've got married, had a kid, had a bit of a midlife crisis. What've you been up to, Soph? Travel? Babies?
Sophie: Nothing. Not being the active household anymore kinda puts a damper on things.
Daniel: Sorry. It's the rules.
Sophie: They're stupid rules.
Remember Daniel's cousin Rosa? She's now an elder with a silly hat.
Meanwhile, at home, Gabrielle ages up with just Bonehilda and the baby.
Gabrielle: I prefer it. Nobody can see me get wrinkles that way.
Bonehilda and the baby do both have eyes, but they were too busy bonding. As much as a burrito and a skeleton can bond, anyway.
Gabrielle: Neither of us are getting any younger, and it'd be nice to have another child, don't you think?
Daniel: Have we got enough vegetables in for a stew tonight?
Gabrielle: Hmm.
You're not so scared of holding her now then?
Daniel: Nope. If a skeleton can hold her, so can I. And anyway she's tiny enough that she'll fall slowly because she doesn't weigh anything.
I don't know if that's how gravity works.
And another birthday for this update, the burrito becomes a real person in her own right.
Daniel: I'm going to miss her tininess.
Gabrielle: I'm not going to miss you going on about her tininess.
And here we have it. One toddler. Let's see who she looks like.
Place your bets...
...NOW.
N'awww. All cute, but eyes and hair from Gabrielle and a little bit of Daniel's face shape.
And is there another one on the way?
