Butler Won't Shower or Sleep

Ever since I remodeled my Dynasty home and hired a new butler after the previous one died, this butler will NOT shower. I thought at first maybe I accidentally locked the door to her bedroom (which has a shower and toilet that are usable), but I checked and the doors were unlocked for those rooms. She will fix showers if they break but will not take a shower for any reason. Maybe she's hydrophobic? I tried resetting her, but all that did was make her not shower OR sleep.

My dynasty is being temporarily abandoned. The reason? 25% laziness, 25% preoccupation with other Sims families, and 50% an upcoming move to San Antonio.

I never had good experience with the female butlers. They never slept and were always tired. Fire her and see if the next on is a male. The male butlers were great.
