Congratulations Thomas!

@Ausette:  I was just thinking about adding that to my next submission something like 'Feedback welcome once contest closes' or something like that.

And on that note please feel free to feedback on my submission as always I do take it on board.  Thank you to those who voted for my submissions.

I really appreciate and I'm very thankfull for all comments and advices about my entries. I think You've noticed how much Your advices and suggestions are helping me. I also appologize for not commenting Your entries. I'm afraid I cannot express my opinion and suggestions because of my poor english, I could really offend someone or hurt somebodys feeling with wrong choice of words.
I really enjoy to partecipate in every contest, I like the feeling to be part of this big community.
Thank You all for the beautiful words on every entries of mine. It means lot to me because this is the first site in wich I dared to show my works.
I try to live honestly, so I have to confess that the biggest part of this letter is written by someone close to my heart.
I'm very happy because I noticed our entries are getting better every time and I really have problem to decide whom to give my vote.
It's great how the internet can connect people who share the same affinity toward this amazing game.
I congratulate everyone who ever partecipated to the building contest. Thank You all.

When I saw the other entries for this competition I really felt like I should remove my own. I thought a little too much about this one and ended up messing it up entirely.

The talent is so high in these competitions, congrats to Thomas, it was a truly amazing build.

I am always open to feedback on the competition builds.

Kindest Regards
Kj

Don't be so hard on yourself! I thought your idea was a great idea and you did it really well. I think you might have strayed a little far from the Rendezvous Idea perhaps by making it more of a Studio/School rather than a Hangout but it still was very well thought of and I did like the idea very much.  :)

Thank you everyone who has congratulated me, I congratulate you all on such wonderful and individual entries!  ;) I hope you'll all be taking part in the Abstract Exteriors Contest!

Don't be so hard on yourself. You did an amazing job. I think the only way that any of us can grow and develop as builders and designers is by putting our works out there and taking on board what people have to say. I debated not entering the contest because I knew how high the standard would be but I am actually pleased I did because although it may not look it I can personally see how much I have grown as a builder over just a few months.

Thanks everyone!  ;D I do agree my build was cramped, and it was hard to make a nice modern garden without cluttering it. I'm still not 100% positive I pulled it off though. :)

Just a random little question for Rachel...

Zapkid:You have a very distinct style and you do modern really well. I would have liked to see you take a few more risks with your build.

Can I ask what you mean by taking more risks? Do you mean try a little more traditional elements?

Hey guys I'm taking an extended hiatus... again. I'm out of ideas to build houses and I don't have as much fun designing homes like I used to; it feels more like a chore. So that's where I'll be, I will probably be back sometime. :P

No I actually meant that you should push the boundaries for modern a little more. Maybe go really abstract and out there. I don't think that it would work for you as a builder to go traditional you have found a signature style that is totally you.
I am probably wrong but I get the feeling that you could probably create a modern build in your sleep. I would love to see what you could do if you took it that one step further. I bet you could do space age and futuristic really well. I am sorry if I have offended you.

Don't worry, you didn't offend me at all. Something I definitely need to work on is going away from the same boring textures and try doing new things with patterns, such as making interesting rugs.

And space age / futuristic? You shouldn't go giving me ideas seeing that I still haven't even finished Seabody's Mansion, but that does sound like fun. :P

Gogo, just wanted to say that I thought it was a kind thing to dedicate your entry to Georgie Thring. I assume you knew her? If so I'm sorry for your loss.

Thanks. Georgie was my one of my cousins' best friend. I didn't really know her though.

I would be if I could think of something!  :P

@Ausette, I loved the shell of the building. It looked amazing! I loved the writing area but I think that a band area would've suited the lot.

@ratchie, The shell of the building looked a bit off. Some of the windows didn't match the wall. The inside looked bland.

@KJ, I loved the shell of your build. The scenes out the back looked cool but I don't think the hot tub or fire pit seemed relevant. I loved all the scenes. They were very original.

@Sassy, I loved the maze! It added a new effect to your build and boosted the look of  your shell. The inside looked a bit cramped though.

@Lynley, Another one of your great builds. The outdoor patio was beautiful! Inside was very nice but I think the whole build was too fancy!

@Twinmum,  I loved the bridge over the pond and the cute fountain. The scuplture garden could've used a sculpting station or two but otherwise nice. I loved all the rooms but thought that some of the floor looked very bland.

@Zap, Don't think I haven't seen a thing other than modern out of you! The Band Area looked way to open. Inside everything looked very clean but I don't think there was enough decoration.

Well, that's me. Now let's see if my mind can think of something abstract.
