That's quite an interesting house you've got with the fences and such.  Very clever.

Thanks, Pam. It's just random construction. Don't mind that.

Anyway, I've just MLCrisis my mummy to get the Angler trait. Is it something normal for Anglers to fish fishes that don't belong? How did the mummy fish Minnow from the family pond while there wasn't even any minnow in it?

I would have though Minows were a begginers fish and would be everywhere, what would begginers do if there were no fish to catch?

Wha? This is a mummy with level 10 fishing(and everything else) and done with the skill challenges. She was tutored to this level and, as shown in the picture, is the first time she caught a Minnow - from a pond that does not have Minnow.

Ah, but you have a point there. What if a beginner fisher went fishing in my pond? Hmm.. Well, since it's possible for a level 3 to fish Deathfish, then I'd think a beginner fisher could fish what was in the pond... but not what's not in the pond.

I though you had to be a level 10 to catch deathfish? Also once the pond was made, would it not have a basic stock for you to fish, because you can fish in ponds that are not stocked?

Owhhhh yeaaa.... That explains. Funny how it took so long before I caught a Minnow. Oh, right, the Angler trait. I guess that's it.

Well, if you have the specific bait(Angelfish), you can fish(Deathfish) at any level.

Yes, as long as you have the bait, the only thing that requires levels are the bait books. Yet if you already know, you can go ahead and try it with the bait you know. :)

I have a question concerning death fish: Can you fish them outside of the 12:00 - 5:00 normal time frame, when they are in a pond? Thanks

I believe if you have Deathfish in your own pond or any other pond where you stocked them, you can fish them any time.  The cemetary ingame is the only time they have a timeframe.

Yes. Also home ponds are not as well stocked as community lot ponds so you'll more than likely catch less from your ponds.

You don't have to be level 10 to catch deathfish, that's just some incorrect info that got circulated around. As soon as you can use live bait, fish for angelfish then head for the cemetary at midnight. I'm usually around level 5 or 6 when I go deathfishing...and the skill will skyrocket up when you start catching them.

Cheese>Catfish>Angelfish>Deathfish.

Ah, the level 10 speculation about Deathfish probably comes from the fact that you have to be level 10 in order to study the bait... but then there's trial and error.

Cheese>Catfish>Angelfish>Deathfish.

To avoid any confusion: that's Alley Catfish, not Siamese Catfish.

Actually I'm not quite sure of this. I once stocked a pond with plenty of it but the "what fish is here" thing said there were none until the cloud came over it around midnight. Maybe I could still fish for them, and I just wasn't really looking.

I can at least fish for death fishes in my own-stocked ponds 24/7.
