Chapter: 26 The Baby Days: Aurora
The kingdom is all in a fuss over the new babies arrival. But, the thing is... I think I'm pregnant too!  Nola and I are planning on lunch in the study today. I think I will tell her first. She is my best friend and she should know. I haven't told Devon yet but... I will.


"I have quite the bump!" Nola exclaimed when I entered. I smiled at her.
"Let's sit." I offer.

"Guess what?" I start.
"What is it?" Nola sounded excited.
"I'm pregnant too!" I exclaim.
"This is so exiting! Our kids will be able to play together!" Nola says.
"This is truly wonderful."  I say back.
"Have you told Devon?" She asks.
"No... I think I will soon though." I say.
"He will be happy too." She says.
"There he is! Tell him! Now... go on!" Nola pulled me out of the chair.

I walked into Devon's chamber.
"Hello..." I greet him.
"Hello Aurora!" He seems extra happy.
"I have some exciting news..." I start.

"What is it?!?!"
"Well..."
"Spit it out!"

"I'm pregnant!!!" I exclaim once again.
"With my child I hope?" He asks.
"Of coarse!" I laugh.


Then Devon and I chat about the baby over a game of chess.

Then we are interrupted by the trumpets.
"What is that?" I ask Devon.
"The welcoming trumpets... I wonder who is here?" He informs me.
"Come on lets go see." He helps me up and Devon, Nola and I go down to the lobby. Nola had quite the waddle.

The King didn't even know who was arriving. We all gathered around in the lobby. The Guards opened the gate, and then the draw bridge and then the doors to the lobby. And the unthinkable walked in...

"JACKSON!!!" Nola scream so loudly the stained glass might have cracked.
"NOLA!" He yells back not as loudly. Then hug each other so tight Nola's baby might pop! But then it hits me...
HE SURVIVED!?!?!?!?!? My mouth drops open and I look over at Devon He has this weird confused look on his face and I couldn't help but smile.

Then I elbow Devon.
"Its truly a miracle." Devon whispers.
"We shall throw a party in honor!" The King announces.
"Welcome... you are now a knight!" Devon snapped out of it and greeted Jack.

Jack is back! The look on Devon's face is priceless lol.

Chapter 27: Nola
I am on cloud nine right now!  Jack is home and today... I gave birth!
It all started this morning. I was going to breakfast when...

Oh dear it hurt badly! But I knew it would all be worth it. I rang for Heather and she came running.

Heather panicked at first. She had never delivered a baby before. The last baby born in the Kingdom was me and my mother had another servant (who my father accused of magic and well... she was killed) I don't remember her or know the details.

And after hours of pain...

Little baby Celia was born.



And my father was instantly made orders for a nursery. 

My father loved Celia and pushed Jack away so he could tuck Celia into her new crib.

Once my father left the nursery Jack got to hold his daughter for the very first time.

His heart melted when her held her.

Chapter 27: Aurora
A couple of weeks later it was my turn to give birth. Although I wasn't so keen on having Heather deliver my baby.


But Devon said it was better than no one. And a smooth birth later...
And the precious Alexander was born.


The King ordered another Nursery to be built next door the Celia's with the addition on 2 new washrooms (1 for each nursery).


And that day Alexander was born... I made a promise to him that I would be there for him unlike my mother who was killed. When I said that I touched my necklace and kissed his soft head.

Aww, welcome Celia and Alexander. That last part about Aurora always being there for Alexander was so sweet. Is there going to be a possible romance between Celia and Alexander one day?
