The 8 Sims, Part 2: Penelope, Mandy and Jackson

You’ve all met Bree, Trigger and Brenden now, so let’s meet another 3 of the 8.

Mandy Leary is a Twinbrook girl who loves her books. She has been in love multiple times but lost each boyfriend because she couldn’t handle her relationship and book writing.

She was working on her next novel when she needed inspiration. So when she got a call it was perfect.
“Hey hun!” Emmie, her best friend shouted.
“Oh hey, Em.”
“So have you decided?”
“Kinda, not really.”
“Well, the signup sheet is down at the Red Rendezvous and they are taking it down today!”
“I know, I know.”
“Well, meet me down there in 10.”
She hang up and Mandy sighed.

When Mandy arrived at the notice board at the Red Rendezvous, she found a note.
Dear Mandy,
I had to leave after I signed up as mum called. Yep, I’ve signed up too! Let’s hope we both get in.
From Em.
Another sigh left Mandy’s mouth. Emmie could never keep a promise but Mandy still signed up.

She wasn’t going to waste her day out so Mandy practised her foosball and relaxed in the hot tub.

She was soon home and was worrying if she made the right decision.

Penelope Bond was a top SIMMS agent before she was framed by Derik O’Hara. She was sent to the Sergeants for detention and was forced to live in their basement. She had a computer though.

She was playing a game of chess when Bobby had come downstairs.
“Penelope, Sierra has a way to get you out of here and to get the SIMMS trust back. You must enter the Battle of Appaloosa Plains. Scout and I have been out all afternoon talking to the Boss in the Sky,” Bobby noted.
“So, when does it start.”
“You’re leaving tonight. Alma needs to head to Appaloosa Plains for a meeting so you’ll be going with her and she’ll drop you off.”
Bobby left the basement and Penelope contemplated.

She could finally be back to her usual secret life. She made a few drinks for her and the Sergeants to share before beginning to her skill study, but little did she know her study would be useless.

Jackson Woods was once a man with a grand family. He was wed to Josie but this is a time before the Woods and before Jackson meets Josie.

He lived with the Roomies then and they had been deciding on who should enter into the 2nd Battle. One of them was to enter and Tamara had the final vote. She brought the group to the bistro for their last meal before she would send one off. Either Jackson or Blair were going.

Before they left, Tamara approached Blair and told her she was staying.

She then went to Jackson and he was in tears. He was going on a new adventure. But it meant his wedding would be prolonged.

The 8 Sims, Part 3:Iris and Hansum

Iris Lennon recently moved out of the family manor into a small house with her sister. Being in Riverview gives her new things to find each day with the forever updating countryside.

She was at home alone watching TV where an ad interested her.
“Do you want to challenge yourself? Well, sign up for the Battle of Appaloosa Plains!”
She wrote down the number on screen before going out to see her boyfriend, Billy.

He greeted her with a long kiss. They both loved it but soon the tides changed.

Billy: I think you need to kinda just chill a bit more. You’re so focused on writing and stuff that being with you hasn’t been fun.
Iris: So you want to break up because I’m trying to become a good writer!

Billy: No, no. You just need to do something fun. Like go on a holiday.
Iris: Let me guess you want to go on a holiday with me.
Billy: Well.

She grabbed the number she wrote down out of her pocket and called. There was one position left for females.
Iris: Bye, I better go pack.
Billy: Where are you going?
Iris: To the Battle of Appaloosa Plains. See you in a few weeks.

Hansum Lee was supposed to start a booming dynasty and marry Agnes but he didn’t want that.

He looked at his large plot of land and sighed. He couldn’t believe he was here. His watcher sent him to Agnes’ house but when he got there, she had to go to the bathroom and something nearby interested him.

“All these people are enjoying themselves living life, while I’m stuck doing a Dynasty.” He thought. He overheard a talk about the Battle of Appaloosa Plains.

A thought struck him, if he could get in, he could escape. He quickly rang the Battle’s number and was soon in. The watcher was close to coming back so it was a hurry. He ran to the salon for a ‘new look’ when really he wanted a disguise.

“Let’s hope she doesn’t find out where I’m going...”
He heard a large scream from somewhere in the sky. The watcher was angry.

They came from the streets of nearby Appaloosa Plains, the far away Sunset Valley, Riverview too. All for the chance to live the life in Appaloosa Plains. But little did they know that one of them was here for a different reason. One of them was here for trust.

They all arrived together for the battle of their life. The Battle of Sunburst I mean Appaloosa Plains would begin soon, and they lives were about to get tough.

Week 1, Part 1:Way too Fit!

We’ve gone from one extreme to another. The athletic skill was up first and 5 of the contestants have the athletic trait! This means that we’ve gone from no Athletic Skilling to 5 people skilling!

Bree begins to get used to her new house and dances to the stereo’s beat. She’s going to miss her grand Fae Family home but she can live with it.

We straight away had two people working hard, Jackson and Penelope. But soon the rest joined in.


Brenden actually lures some of them in for a good story of a man named Gavin Pinkerton and how he was so nasty to Brenden!

Dinners and Breakfasts are the time where the whole group are jammed into one room together. They all have Lunch at different times. It’s pretty packed.

Jackson wakes up one morning pretty early so he jumps into the pool, after taking all his clothes off of course!

Bree’s done a few things around. She shows us all how to do a chin up like a woman.

And proves that she and Hansum have a real connection!

The pool is officially too small and will be expanded soon. I’m sure the pool wasn’t meant to have 4 people in it all day long!

As Wednesday ends, Penelope, Brenden and Jackson all have 4 points in Athletic while Bree is ahead on 5.

There are four bedrooms upstairs and each person chose their bed. Bree and Mandy share a room so they got a room award, a private dining area.

Bree has made 2 friends and 2 people were not her favourites. She calls Penelope and Iris to break the bad news. One of them will go.

Next Time: Who will be the first eliminated? Will Mandy stop playing tag with everyone?
Author’s Note: Mandy has been playing tag with a few people and already has 3 best friends! She’s a threat!
