Trasfiguring Spirts into Ghosts

Hi!  I read on another website that if you transfigure spirts ( the kind you get in the Ghost Hunter Profession), of the same type the end result is a ghost.  I tested it and after the transfiguration I recieved a ghost! I believe this warrants futher investigation and, ifenough information is gathered, addition into the guide
