Editing Sunset Valley

Hey guys,
Have any of you downloaded and used the world making tool from sims3.com? I was merely curious if you could edit Sunset Valley with it and create more lots, play with the terrain elevation, stuff like that.
Also have you guys seen any cool Lots on the Exchange? I would like some nice detailed houses but am not up for all the work it takes to create them.

I have a couple of favorite builders.  Like you, I love playing in lovely houses, but cannot build them myself.  The first one is Houses by Bex.  All of hers were done before World Adventures came out, so they don't have any of the new awesome stuff.  But the houses are great and play well.  The second one is Houses by AlenaStepRR. These houses have a lot of the new stuff and are gorgeous, but they sometimes don't play well.  For example, I moved one of my Sims out of the house and into one of these houses, then nobody could visit because there was something messed up with the entrance to the house.  None of the Sims I controlled could go inside.  I think this happens because the builder doesn't actually play the houses and sometimes there are issues with playability when building something fancy.  What I like about both of these builders is that they don't use third party custom downloads, except for maybe a couple of harmless windows.

I have the World Making tool, it is not just a thing to download and make a neighborhood quick though! It would take for ever to make a neighborhood, ones on the exchange can be misleading in size and quality if they have used pictures of something rather than their world.

To answer the first half of the post, you can't edit the populated Sunset Valley shown in game, but the CAW comes with a file called Sunset Valley Lite, which is the world without any lots set down, which would allow you to add lots where you like, and then import the standard lots after you export them from the base world.
