How to make Simbot and what traits?

So, I have a family and I have a worker sim (to make money), a fun Sim (he socializes, throws parties etc.), and an extra one, who I don't know what to do with? His traits are love the outdoors, artistic, athletic, savvy sculptor. and lucky. :)
I have decided to have him build a simbot but how and what traits should i give him (he will have a midlife crisis)

Well you can level up his artistic skill and see all the cool paintings the skill has to offer. The same can be done if you wanted to make them do sculptures too! All the while you can put the easel and the sculpting station outside for a nice moodlet for being outdoors- which in turn the higher the mood the faster they gain skills & Lifetime points. :)
Or you can make them a super star athlete (I'm not sure if the lucky trait helps with winning games or not), and if you have World Adventures you can make them learn martial arts which in turn if you break a certain amount of boards you can break open space rocks and get gems. :)
Also doing martial arts offers them the ability to "zen port" or teleport from one place to the next if they get high enough in meditation.

This doesn't fit with the traits of the extra Sim, but it can still work.  Maybe he can be the household chef.  He can learn cooking, then do gardening and fishing to help improve the quality of his meals by using higher quality ingredients.  The other two Sims would probably like having great meals to put them in good moods.

I was thinking maybe to have a mid life crisis and then have him invent stuff Because i would like a simbot as like a butler but what traits are good for building a sim bot?

Eccentric is good for an Inventor. I don't know if any other traits are beneficial, though.

You gain handy skill working on the inventing table, so probably handy as well as eccentric, born salesman would be good to sell stuff at the consignment store.

Of course you could change the sim to be family-oriented, nurturing, etc, and make a family.

I would also put the Daredevil trait somewhere in there too. In my games at least, Sims have burst into flames while inventing, and the daredevil trait will get a positive moodlet from catching on fire, and can easily put themselves out.

You need to reach Level 10 of the Inventing Skill and have no active Skill Opportunities. Then you'll get a phone call with a chain Opportunity called "Master Invention". That's the one to make a Simbot. You need something like 1 Palladium, 10 Life Fruit, 100 pieces of Scrap, and a Life Core (it will be given to you after one of the steps is completed) - I can't remember what else. Or you could get one for 40,000 Lifetime Happiness Points. This might help.

As for the traits, don't give him a midlife crisis. Send him Swimming, or into a Shower, or have him interact with water, then have someone "Reprogram" him (it's an interaction) to change traits. Then have the Sim repair him. You could make him the standard utility sim - Natural Cook, Handy, Neat, Angler and Green Thumb.

As well as the palladium, life fruit and scrap you also need a heart cut pink diamond.

I think Hunnington meant the Sim will have the midlife crisis not the Simbot. 

Daredevil sounds like a good trait as well, so eccentric, handy, daredevil are three, maybe born salesman  are four good traits.  :D

I would give him green thumb, to boost his skilling ability in gardening, to get those life fruits sooner.
