After reading this recent discussion I realized I forgot the lot by Stoney Falls (the one way up near the waterfall)! I am on week 2 day 5 is it ok to go to edit town to put a house down there or would this make me a DNF?

That's fine. Correct your mistake with edit town.

So I did this whole thing and got a certain total, said to myself "I can do way better than that" So I used that as a practice round and did it all over again... resulting in a total 2 days better.  UGH... I thought I was doing so well.  I'd love to know how people did it in so little time. 

My total is Week 5 Day 6  = 34 days.

weeks 1, 2, 3 and 4 =28 (7x4) days plus day 1 and 2 of week 5 is 30

You start at week 1, day 1 and according to previous posts we deduct this of the total.
So week 5 day 2 is actually 4 weeks plus 1 day = 29 days.

Just like week 5 day 1 of GlazeyLady is actually 4 whole weeks = 28 days. This score is also what Metro wrote on the leaderboard, that's why I mentioned it.

Plus if you go back and check other people's scores and the number of days they have on the leaderboard, you will find that is the case.

edit - I think metro may have made a mistake on that particular one because all the other entries (well the ones I just checked) follow the example I just gave.

I think you mean week 5, day 2

If that's the case, I think other people's scores are calculated wrong. GlazeyLady's for instance.
I don't mind how it is calculated, but I think all scores should be calculated the same way.
I am just relating to another score.

Besides, why would you just deduct the first week and not the first day? (since you start on week 1, day 1)

The reasoning behind deducting the first week, is not actually taking it away. It's just that when people say week 4, day 2 they often multiply 7 by 4 then add the 2 (I have made that mistake myself), but the mistake is that you haven't  actually played 4 full weeks, but 3 full weeks and 2 days into the 4th. As I said, I think GlazeyLady's score on the leaderboard is a typo because it seems to be the only one that doesn't add up.

All the scores are supposed to be calculated by including the finishing day as a day.  The 0th week does not count as a week, since none of it was actually played.  I don't see any scores not calculated this way.  GlazeyLady's is correct.

Ok guys, I am very sorry! I never meant for my small remark to become such a discussion.

I just read the posts of GlazeyLady and alyssa.cole and noticed that they were only 1 day apart, but in the leaderboard they are 2 days apart.
I figured that GlazeyLady's score was correct, so alyssa.cole should have a score of 1 day less. (in her advantage)

But now it seems to be the other way around, so I am very sorry GlazeyLady!!!
