Hmm  :-\ I kind of thought that might be the case. One of my Sims has three traits that are unavailable to children. I wonder what will happen in that case? Guess there are limited ways to find out!

I did indeed restart, after reinstalling on a different OS and then coming back and reinstalling here ... it seems that my reinstall-fu has increased substantially and I was plagued with fewer glitches. Phew.

Being a newcomer to the forum I may be a bit late, but I'm going to jump in on this challenge anyway  :) . I'm not too bothered if I don't finish before the closing date - I'll just play for fun and see where I would have placed on the board. It might inspire me for future challenges!
Not expecting to do very well having not played a practise file!

Welcome gracieoscar! Yeah I'm not sure whether risking a practise is a good idea at this point--this is my first timed challenge (I'm on my second practise Immortal Dynasty) and I'm nervous, I wish to acquit myself well! Good luck to you!

Nope. The rule states you can bulldoze/delete and existing community building to place a missing EA community building.

Ha, I so read that wrong then.  The way it was written about changing a lot type, I just took it for granted that the structure we could bulldoze had to be on the residential lot before we changed it.  oops lol

Okay, lol. I just reread the whole rule myself...you can change one lot type from residential to community basically to put down a missing community building. Sorry for the confusion. But, you can't put down a residential building.

I'm still confused, sorry. Can I bulldoze the big Equestrian Center and place a missing EA community building on that 60x60 lot? Or can I bulldoze a small residential lot to place a bigger lot instead for the missing EA community building?

At the beginning when you are first in edit town change one of the diamond shaped empty residential lots to a community lot to add an EA community building.  You can't bulldoze anything unfortunately!  That's my understanding any ways.

Man, I'm hoping to get this one finished but I keep having bugs affect my sims :(

I took the rules to mean you can bulldoze a building, but could not bulldoze a lot to place a larger lot.

In the general rules for challenges, it says that you can bulldoze a lot to place a larger lot.

In the general rules for challenges, it says that you can bulldoze a lot to place a larger lot.

It also says that you cannot bulldoze existing structures, so bulldozing the equestrian center or any other building for that matter is not an option!

oops, my bad. The ruleset for this challenge overrides that particular rule.

I would think that bulldozing a lot to place a larger lot was okay, as long as you didn't need to bulldoze two of them to place a single lot, since the number of lots that are empty at this point matters for this challenge.  Bulldozing buildings wouldn't be okay.

Yes. This specific ruleset allows you to do that one time. Remember everyone—a specific ruleset may allow something typically banned in General Rules.

Good luck to you! At first glance this seems a lot harder than I was expecting, but I think it's getting easier as I get further in to it. I keep finding things that I should have done earlier though.

My Sims stopped aging.  I don't know what is going on. Enable aging is on, needs are static and enable story progression is off.  Was going great and when my original 4 started aging into adults from young adults the aging just stopped happening.  3 of them are in constant midlife crisis and it's been 8 weeks lol. Can I start over or do I just hope for this to fix itself?
