No, I wanted to bulldoze an existing community lot to place one of a different kind.

Nope. The rule states you can bulldoze/delete and existing community building to place a missing EA community building.

Ha, I so read that wrong then.  The way it was written about changing a lot type, I just took it for granted that the structure we could bulldoze had to be on the residential lot before we changed it.  oops lol

Okay, lol. I just reread the whole rule myself...you can change one lot type from residential to community basically to put down a missing community building. Sorry for the confusion. But, you can't put down a residential building.

Hi everyone... long time lurker, but my very first post!

Just wondering what EPs are a requirement to participate in the Challenge Tourney because I don't think I'll be getting Pets  :( :-[ (The life of an university student...) It's okay if it disqualifies me, I hope I can just play along unofficially with you guys anyway!

Also, Metro, I saw someone ask you this in another thread but I never did see your answer - you said this was your swan song year - are you leaving just the challenge planning or the forum in general?

Unless a challenge specifically requires that you get a particular EP, you shouldn't have to buy one. You don't need Pets for this challenge, nor did you need it for the first two.

Actually, I've been wondering if Generations has to be necessary for this challenge, if someone agrees to wait until a Sim has 45000 happiness points before adopting. That player would be at a disadvantage with regard to inherited traits, of course.

Of course adoption is not an option here. Your 4 Sims are from an advanced race — that's the whole theme — cloning is what you do. ;)

Yay, since I'm first to post my score, I'll get top of the leaderboard - for now!

Finished Week 4 day 7 at 3:30am. Would have been a day earlier if not for an unfortunate mishap.

Total 28 days.

How in the name of sims did you get it done so quickly?? That is just amazing. Congratulations lvrugger!!  :o By the way, please don't respond to that question lol. I'm sure you already knew that, it was just rhetorical on my part, but I am simply amazed by that. I can't wait until I can find out how you did that! Week 2 of mine is no where near even having 1 sim clone out in the world. Good job!

Can they eat Life Fruit or Ambrosia?  Not sure if this is a cheat.

If it's not banned in the rules, then it is allowed

Thanks Esther! I'm sure I'll be surpassed by a number of power hitters. I didn't to a trial run since I have a few days off and won't have much time due to work for the foreseeable future. I plotted out in my head the path to take and ran with it. I realized a few things that would have saved me about a week total if I did them. So much for not practicing!

Ok, I have a problem.

My sims got all buildings and properties now, so I am evicting all none clone sims. But for some reason I just can't kick out the Langerak household, when I check the map the local pet adoption agency is apparently located at their house.

Can I just demolish that house and put one from the bin there? Or do you have any ideas what could fix it?

Yes, that's fine. Twinmum in her testing ran into the same problem and that's about all you can do to remedy that situation.

Thank you, time to bring out the demolisher!
