Just to clarify we need to stay in our original house with our four Sims that we created right at the beginning of the game.

No. You need to always play the original house, yes. But, you can move out any of the original four Sims provided you meet the requirement to do so.

Also when we upgrade a property or buy a building we can move three Young adult clones out and they can move to three separate empty properties.

Rachel

Yes.

I just realised while playing, that I don't have any Celebrities in my town.
Could it be because of the 'Story Progression' that is unchecked?  ???

That's right! That's why I asked if we could leave it on. I didn't get an answer anyway...  ???

I had seen your question earlier and at the time wondered why you had asked...now I know  ;)

Sorry about that. I guess I felt the rule is already clear — you do not get disqualified for leaving story progression checked. There's just the risk of making your job more difficult.

Can we move house if we're irreparably glitched? And then demolish the house we moved from and put an EA lot on it?

EDIT: It may not matter. I think my practice file has become glitched anyway :( I was having fun with it too :(

Another question - can we add pets in CAH or do we have to adopt them?

Moving solves glitches? I have heard that switching active households can help, but not simply moving. I do not know. I guess we'll discuss it IF things go south for anyone.

The rules already state there are no restrictions on pets.

Sorry to hear about your computer, Esther. But you do realize you have until April 22 to complete this challenge? Anyway, if you won't get your computer back before then, then I'm really sorry to hear about your computer.

Thanks Marian and Metro. Yes, I know that but when I was practicing I realized it's going to take me the entire time to do it so I figure if I can't start on the starting date I'd never get it done in time.

1. The houses we use have to be EA houses, but do they have to be ones from the lot bin? Or can we copy-paste EA houses from the various EA neighbourhoods? And can we please have it specified in the ruleset aswell for clarity?

2. According to the guide, the graveyard is glitched without using buydebug. What do we do about that?

Do the initial 4 sims have to be alike in appearance or traits or anything?

Awesome concept, by the way!
