Esther, are you really going to do the impossible? No cheating? How does the game feel without your cheats?

EDIT: Never mind, I read the rules, it says "Make needs Statistic" is allowed. ;D

Can I assume there are no limitations on which lot you start on for this?  Seeing as with pets, the Equstrian Center takes up the dynasty lot.

I would guess "no", because you're going to have to buy all the lots eventually anyways...

I'm very excited about this challenge! It's the first one I've actually started practicing for! Can't wait till it really starts. :)

The one I can't live without is allowed, but yeah the game is different without teleporting. Also buydebug. I never realized how many things I depended on from there until it's not on haha. It's definitely giving me a different way to play!!

Teresa is right, there's 2 separate buttons. I'm practicing and can't believe how hard this is.  :o

Yeah, I've been playing around tonight trying a few things. I've never used a clone voucher before, so I wanted to find out how that worked and it turned out to be different than I thought.
I think this one is really going to be a challenge.

Metro, you said if we give up to just say that we tried, should we include how long we went for and how many clones we got into the world (for some sort of ranking within the DNF's) or just leave it as we tried?

I'm just putting anyone that could not finish as DNF — it does not matter how much you accomplished or how long you took if you did not finish. Think about it...how would I rationalize ranking within DNFs? Too complicated.

lol, I asked that last night and after I thought about it a bit (after I had turned the computer off) I did realize how that just wouldn't work. I'll plead tiredness in my defense  ;D

When we are placing houses, do they have to be EA houses?  And, do they all have to be different?

Yeah, whatever EA houses are in your bin. But, no they do not all have to be different.

@Catarra — your question from yesterday has been deleted. Remember, as long as you're not cheating and obeying the rules, you CAN do it. ;)

Here's a piece of advice not related to strategy -- this is a challenge where you may want to clear your cache files regularly. I started from zero, played for a couple of hours, redeemed a few clone vouchers, and found that I had 10,000+ KB in the two I usually clear. Instructions can be found in this thread:

Thanks for that tip, MarianT. Also thank you for PMing me and giving me a tip on a possible roadblock that some players may encounter. Due to that situation, I have added the following rule —

  • Once you attain full ownership of ALL buildings and have purchased and fully upgraded ALL properties, you may enter Edit Town and Evict as needed.

So, the bottom line is you can still only evict ONE household after any building/property is purchased. But, once you have all of them, then you are free to evict as you see fit (no restrictions on numbers).

Just to make sure, we can start our clones on any lot we want, that they can afford, right?  Since the dynasty/legacy lot is taken up by the Equestrian center.

If you would have had to start on a specific lot, that would be in the rules.

@cndneh — your post was deleted. I am assuming my doing so gives you your answer. If not PM me and I will be happy to give you the answer.

As usual, I'm confused.  It says in the rules:

"Once you attain full ownership of any building or have purchased and fully upgraded any property, you may enter Edit Town and Evict one household.

Once you attain full ownership of ALL buildings and have purchased and fully upgraded ALL properties, you may enter Edit Town and Evict as needed."

So,  you have bought your first building and evicted a household.  You have bought your second property, or building, upgraded if needed.  Can you then evict a second household or do you wait now till ALL buildings/properties are bought and upgraded before you can evict anyone else?
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!
