I have a weird question and I really dont see why the answer would be no, but I guess I should ask just in case.
Is it possible to place 15/16 copies of the same house on all the free lots?

Click on the Show Empty Houses tab, find the house you want, click on Place Copy, then click the lot of your choice.

No restrictions on placing different homes, so yes, you're fine.

Yes. Rather than add another rule, I want to wait and see if players actually do end up with that issue. I see a simple fix, but it may not be necessary.

Woot! Feb 27th has arrived (well for me and a couple of others anyway) Now I can put all that practice into play. Off to start my challenge file.

For me, it's still the 26th for about 5 hours and 11 minutes.  :'( I already know what I'll be doing at midnight though haha. Good luck everyone!

Sorry to double post, but I just was reading the UC thread and realized something. Showtime will be coming out next month which comes with another patch. As it is right now, I'm completely patched up, but will we have to do the patch mid-game? Some patches bring more glitches to the game, and I'm worried I might be doing awesomely in my clone challenge, than the patch comes along and ruins it. What's the word on patches coming mid-challenge?

Edit:Question removed so as not to share stratagy(Rachel)

As Twinmum states in the post below if it is not specifically banned in the challenge general rules and in this challenges particular rule set then you are allowed to do it.

It is probably a good idea to ask Metro any questions in future.

Doh! And I missed it... Ah well, I have my own strategy lined up for this one that I feel quite confident with. And, despite the fact that I usually prefer to control only one sim, I am LOVING this challenge. It's an awesome lot of fun!!! Perhaps because it is bringing new play-styles to my gaming :D

I'd rather put my own houses on the empty lots before I enter the game.  Is this a definite no?  Can we not use any house we have in our bins?  Is there a particular reason if the answer is no? (Yes, I WAS one of those annoying children who always asked "why?" to everything.  Never outgrew it since I never grew up.  ;D)
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!

Me too :D for both - the clones and the questions. Metro hates my questions though. But I dance that fine line between keeping to the spirit of a challenge and keeping the rules. I'd hate to break the rules, so I ask and ask away!

I looked for the answer cause I remembered another person asking this, and Metro said:
The additional 2nd portion to the following rule was added this morning after receiving many PMs over the last couple weeks...

  • Everyone is allowed to change one lot type to community to place ONE EA building not already in Sunset Valley. You may delete one existing structure if it's necessary to place the new EA community building.

Keep it simple. Use the houses already in the lot bin. I'm assuming that's the way everyone is interpreting things anyway, right?

I do not know what you mean by glitched. If this has to do with strategy then enlighten me via PM.
Hope that helps. Also, I'd like to see everyone's clones! But better wait for Metro even though I think he said as long as the pics don't show strategy it would be ok. I need to search for that statement lol.
