My favorite one is Ambitions, for the sole presence of Simbots. I just can't help but love the tin people... Especially making them firefighters and police officers.

How do you endure 'ah simbot!!' reaction each time? :D It's worse to see 'ah! Mummy!' reaction when I summoned one from the sarcophagus. xD
Very hard to be escaped from Sims.

I agree with Summers. I wasn't to excited about Pets, until I saw the part about horses. I love martial arts and tomb raiding; I love the clubs with night life. The careers with Ambitions are fun to try. Can't get rid of any of them.

Even though the Pets EP is rehashed game content, I am one who likes to play as realistically as possible, so I love having the ability to own pets. I hope pets will be integrated with every version of Sims. Although, at this point, it would be nice if it came out with the base game, since it IS relatively familiar content and not "new"...

My favorite is generations because it added lots of little touches I like. Strollers for toddlers. Playing pretend for kids. Proms & learning to drive for teens. Midlife crisis for adults. Tree houses, field trips, after school activities and bunk beds. In fact, the only thing I don't like about this pack is the imaginary friends which can easily be deleted.

Least favorite is pets. I always thought pets and weather should of been part of the base game by now. Close second on the least favorite would be Late Night because now every game I play is infected with vampires and celebs whether I want them or not.

Ambitions.

It has my favorite town, Twinbrook. And not all townies are hideous  :)

I tend to have loud opinions. So sorry. I got tons of issues, lol. I can also be found on Yahoo! Answers.

I don't make simbots often, and when I do I release them into the wild.  If I do keep them (which is almost never), they have a specific role in the household and are often locked away from the other Sims.

You really want a laugh?  Make a simbot, let it live out it's natural life and die...then place the tombstone on your home lot.  When the simbot starts his haunting rounds, Sims will crawl out of bed and go "Ah, a simbot!" and right after that will go "Ah, a ghost!"  Two for the price of one, and literally the most annoying thing for me in the game.   :P

This made me want to chuckle because I actually *really* like laundry! LOL But I am also a realistic player.

Don't get me wrong, though. I don't mind the bits and pieces of real life in Sims. After all, it is a life simulation game. I just think the real life should only be left to bits and pieces, though. Punishment and laundry is a bit too far for what's suppose to be a fun, and only a pinch of realism. I like that it's only somewhat realistic. When I played with dolls, none of them got punished or did laundry, so neither should Sims. I like that money grows on trees, disrupting, resetting your age chronologically is possible and that you can use a giant cow plant to get rid of those pesky neighbors.

I like clubbing and parties in the real world, but it's been a while and I want to do that again while I'm still young. However, I don't mind it in Sims. I didn't care for college, which I why I didn't like University. I only play it for the cow plant.  ;D

My favourite is Pets.  I think it's the ability to create your own horse ranch that does it for me.  Of the others, Ambitions is very good due to all the extra professions and improvements to existing ones.  My least favourites would probably be Late Nights, due mainly to the paparazzi, and mybe Generations as that felt a little bit weak.

I'm in no position to answer this because I only have Ambitions, but Pets is the only other one that appeals. I'd only want Generations for the spiral staircase. I'm not too bothered about extra family stuff because I'm just anxious for my sims to get to an age where they're useful. I have WA for iPhone, which I know isn't the same as having it for real, but what I get from that doesn't really appeal to me. Still, it's lame that my sims never get a break from work besides the weekend. I'm not bothered about night life stuff. I had Sims 2 Pets for console--I liked the idea of it, but the pets were always starving and miserable, and I really felt like my sim lived for no other purpose than to look after them all day, every day. So if Pets for Sims 3 is less...depressing...it could appeal. At least if the pets are controllable, they might not run away because they're starving, despite the house being loaded with food dishes.

ETA: One reason not to get Pets is another downside that Sims 2 Pets had--I spent more time playing with virtual cats than with my own.

I'm impressed with all of them, so far. I suppose in the end my favorite is Ambitions because of the careers and because Twinbrook is my favorite neighborhood BY FAR. I think my least favorite is World Adventures just because it feels more like playing a completely different game than a well-integrated whole. That said, whenever I make an adventurer Sim I do enjoy the heck out of it.

You should change it to add Showtime, it just came out.

But I won't be able to get it until later Today, Tomorrow, or Thursday! Ugh! :P

Hey guys I'm taking an extended hiatus... again. I'm out of ideas to build houses and I don't have as much fun designing homes like I used to; it feels more like a chore. So that's where I'll be, I will probably be back sometime. :P

Fixed, although I'll leave it up to the original author of the thread as to whether or not to reset the vote.  ;)

It's hard to decide which is my favorite expansion since I like them all. What I can tell you is which one I like the least: Night Life. I always buy the night life/party/clubbing expansion and then I hardly send my sims to the clubs  :-\ But what it really make this expansion my least favorite is the fact that in a couple of days almost your whole town is full of vampires and celebrities.

From World Adventures I loved the fact that you could actually do something while on vacation instead of just visiting the beach and do nothing more (I miss the beach and my sims swimming in the ocean). My favorite aspect of Ambitions is the self employment option and the stylist career. Giving makeovers to the ugly townies and getting paid for it is worth it. From Generations I like everything, including the creepy looking imaginary friends.

Another expansion that I always look forward to is Pets but after I give one or two of my families pets I get tired and never adopt again. So far I haven't adopted a horse and I haven't found a unicorn.

Since I won't be able to play Showtime for two more days I'll include my opinion later.

Thanks for adding showtime, and I'll reset the voting for sure, though people wont yet know showtime the way they know the other expansion packs.
