Hi  :)

I think my game is having patching issues but I'm not sure. Everytime I open the launcher it asks me to install the patch 1.29. The first time after installing pets (a couple weeks ago) I clicked on "Later" and never installed the patch, and it kept asking me the same question. Now I do want to update my game, but when I click "Yes" I get a message saying my game is already updated to the latest version. The launcher says "Version 10.0.96.0140012". I had a look at the simswiki and I couldn't even find a version called that way... anyone knows what's going on? Is my game patched up to the latest version or not? If not, how can I download and install the patch manually?

I installed 1.29 and my game has the same version number than yours. So I assume Simswiki is not up to date. :)
How the patch got installed even when you didn't mean to, or why the launcher still suggests an update, is a mystery though...

The launcher is always a mystery... but thanks! That's kind of bad news though... I was hoping the patch would fix a few bugs in my game  ::).

You can still patch up to 1.29 manually. Also sometimes you need to refresh the page.

Frey, have you got Pets? If so, 10.0.96.014001 is the Version number of the Pets EP.

ver 10.0.96.014001 is version of the Pets Expansion, and 1.96 is the latest version of TS3 BASE GAME. You can update your game manualy, read more from here: http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/175477.page

Thanks  :) although I had to uninstall the game because of MAJOR crashing issues lol. DEP settings and factory reset didn't work, so I'm reinstalling everything now...  >:(

Shame on EA, my game was working fine before Pets!
