Open Air Market - updated for casual games
« on: January 11, 2012, 03:07:24 PM »
Lot Name: Open Air Market
Lot type: Community - Consingment Store
Lot Size: 20x30
Content: WA, Amb, LN, Gen and Pets (carrots), there is a very small chance I placed something from SP's as well, but I certainly doubt it. No Store, no CC.
Placement: instead of original Open Air Market in UC, or anywhere suitable

Description:
Original idea behind Open Air Market didn't worked for official Union Cove, but for casual games where you do what you want - here is an updated version of it.

It now includes much more clutter (and objects to take photos of for photography collections):

Food merchant is finally showing off some real fruit (all perfect except some outstanding carrots :-[ Your Sim will not be able to grab them, they are just for showing off, still buying the nice quality products at the register ):

And instead of a bar - there is a nectar merchant and few nectarouxes filled with nectar:)

This lot looks great! But could you say what expansion packs, stuff packs, and store content you used to make it, please.
My Builds

I welcome suggestions and constructive criticism about any of my builds on their threads.

Thank you Agneza! I was playing with this fruit stands long time ago, and I love how colorful it looks:)

Thank you Galena, I added the content and as I wrote, I doubt I used any SP's but there is a slight possibility since I have them in game. I added just Carrots from Pets, and LN content is plasma fruit and bar tables and chairs ;D

I admit that I immediately bulldozed the one in UC and placed this one instead. I have no idea how the original looks like. Haha! Fantastic idea, never would've thought of it myself. =)

Thank you Teacup, MoMoll and Piggypox!

Sorry should have asked this before How do I download this lot?

At the end of the first post just above my signature there is a link to download, it has the size of the lot and number of downloads too, once you downloaded it, you can just click "open" and it will install in game, or you can look for the file you downloaded and doubleclick on it :)

I really love this! Thanks for the updated version!

You are welcome ;D I wanted to do something like this for original version, but CAW don't accept all the ideas we had in mind, plus we want to keep it challenge aproved. Still, for casual games I'm loving this one (plus it can be "upgraded" in similar way by your Sim in challenges and dynasty within the rules!)

I admit that I immediately bulldozed the one in UC and placed this one instead. I have no idea how the original looks like. Haha! Fantastic idea, never would've thought of it myself. =)

Hehehe, original version is similar but with less decorative items at the consingment store stand, instead of fruits there were decorative items from buydebug - fruit bowl, grass and something resembling food - looks like a microwave meal. Plus, instead of nectar register it was a small bar - it was as close as I could make it to this one :)

This SOOOOO belongs in UC!  Grabbing and replacing it in UC.  The fruits and veggies are awesome!
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!
