Sims 3 Gagets
« on: January 10, 2012, 06:11:00 AM »
I just came across a sims 3 mouse! I have bought it, just because I thought it was cool, not because I needed it. I also loved the plumbob USB-stick that came with my sims 3 base game!

This little thing lights up with your sims mood. :P

Any more funny Sims 3 stuff, please share, cause I'm really curious!

I haven't heard of any other stuff, but that mouse looks awesome! :D

Also, feel free to request a home by PMing me! Always happy to help.

Hey guys I'm taking an extended hiatus... again. I'm out of ideas to build houses and I don't have as much fun designing homes like I used to; it feels more like a chore. So that's where I'll be, I will probably be back sometime. :P

Oh, I saw a video about this on YouTube a couple of days ago! Apparently it was supposed to light up different colours according to your active sim's mood (obviously the light would be green if the sim was happy, then yellow and red for their respective moods). But this guy said it just cycles through the colours. Still cool, but would have been even more awesome if it actually did respond to your sim's mood!

From what I read about it, it would rotate the colours when used for any other game or general use but when used with the sems 3 game it would match the sims mood. I'd so love to get this as well.

Cool mouse! Though I wonder begat will happen if I got one son in red, and the other in green. Than the mouse will take the one which is selected?

I first thought the mouse would go from green go red along the power of your battery included in the mouse. When it runs out if power, it will glow deep red.
In which's country have hour bought it, and how much did it cost you?

Was just about to talk about that video! Curtis Paradis? :P

This looks so, so cool! I hope they get this cycling-through-colours thing fixed, though.

It says it changes with the mood so I think it reacts to the selected sim. I'm going to try it out and let you know.

Where I bought it... ever heard of bol.com:P (for the people who aren't Dutch, it's a online store in the Netherlands, it sells everything, but food I guess)  I was looking for the town life stuff and I came across it there XD. It was €25.

Edit: typo's

I know there's a Sims 3 Toaster you could win in some sweepstake (I don't think it was ever officially sold anywhere).

And I suppose that's what true Sims addicts put on their christmas trees:

A toaster, okay that is really cool! I love the Christmas lights too :) And on the picture with the lights is the plumbob USB-memorystick, right?

Oh, I had forgotten about that toaster! Gosh, that is cool. And I've always wanted the memory stick, I think some are on sale on eBay from people that didn't want them, I'll have to have a look. And you posted those Christmas Lights far too late! :P Then again, they could do with going around my window all year round. :D

Any idea on where to get the christmas lights? I agree with Fez, they can be put up any time a year! Looks like it has an USB-connection, or not?

Yes, but I guess everyone already knows about the memory stick. I want one of those too, but when I received the standard edition as a gift, I decided I won't exchange it but look for someone selling just the stick instead.

The christmas lights seem to be a promotion gift from EA to a select few Sims reviewers. But if I manage to find them for sale anywhere online, I'll make sure to notify you. And they indeed have an usb connection.

The plumbob USB is cool for apperances, but most of the stuff that came on it was rather worthless.  I don't recall exactly what, I haven't looked in a long time, but a large portion was some duplicate files in like, 15 different languages.  Might have been copies of the readme or the manuel, not sure.

Of course, having it on hand, i just plugged it in to check.

On it is the theme song in mp3 format, wallpapers, and screensavers.
