So I'm on a mac, and it took a few tries but I finally installed UC into my game, but the problem is the first time I tried to save my game on UC it wouldn't stop saving :/ Is this a general Sims 3 issue or does it have something to do with the towm?? Help please I really want to play it's so gorgeous.

I believe it is the town, as I have had this problem. I play on a Mac.

Hi, so I know this is probably quite late, but I've been trying to download Union Cove for a while but it won't show up when you pick a new world. I have tried all the versions to see if it's just one that won't work but none will. The file shows up in the downloads as installed. Some times it comes up as a saved file in the main menu after the launcher but will say something like 'Union Cove could not load. You may not have all the EPs required.' I have all the expansion packs apart from some of the stuff packs.   Any help?

Have you tried, just to test installing it into a new Sims 3 folder? Basically do a factory reset?

@shadowhunter tried downloading the save file for people without EPs just in case it'll load that? Many of the people who could've helped have moved on and in some cases it just wouldn't work :(

Ok I'll try that, thanks.

Could you put the world onto the Sims 3 exchange store, I can download worlds that way?

At one point, someone stole the world and put it on the exchange as their own creation. We had report it to get it removed, and now the sims server has it blocked so that no one can upload it, not even me.

Way late to the party here, but just wanted to say how fantastic this custom world is!  (I kinda feel weird apologizing for giving mad props to all the creators here, but in a sea of 'issues' I'm hoping I'll be forgiven since there isn't a Kudos folder, that I've seen.)

I downloaded the latest version (because I don't have Pets, namely) and the corresponding save folder, and installation was a breeze, with the city taking maybe taking an additional 2/3 minutes to load, given its size.  Upon loading the saved game, you'll be in the Edit Town mode, and if you don't have all the stuff packs/expansions, you'll see a pop up indicating that some objects were naturally replaced.  Click the check mark to close that out, and you can pan through the area and see the vast amount of families and community lots that have been so painstakingly added to make the city really fleshed out and seem more like what I envisioned one to look like.  From there, you can edit, trim, add at will, then exit out of Edit Town mode and add your family or create a new one.

For what it's worth, here's what I'm running:
Win7 Pro
AMD FX-6300 6 core at (roughly) 4ghz
Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti - only 2gb
12gb RAM

Mad, mad props for a really beautiful creation!

Hi  :)
I'd like to download Union Cove world. I've seen different versions released.
I've got all Sims 3 Expansion Pack. Which version do I have to download?
Thanks, Martina

Use this link https://www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/unioncove/download.php to get to Union Cove's downloads page and download the Seasons version.

Look for where it says: Download Union Cove Seasons V3 (129mb)

Hey, sorry to post to an old thread but I'm having trouble downloading the world.
When I click on the download link it says

The resource requested could not be found on this server!
I've tried different browsers, just to be sure, and searching for other download locations but no luck.

Could you look into this, please?

Thank you for the heads up. We'll look into it.

** Update: The issue was fixed and the save file should be downloadable from this page:

Hello, I'm sorry to also bring back an old thread, but I believe I'm having a similar issue with the Union Cove save file.

I'm able to download and install the world file without any issues, however I am encountering errors when trying to download the save file (which I need since I don't have all expansions). I've tried different browsers and computers and have the same issue every time where it will fail to download without much explanation, leaving behind a zip file that cannot be opened because it is "in an unknown format or damaged" and a .part file of the same name.

Is this something that is universally broken, or if it isn't, do you have any suggestions on what I could look into on my end to figure this out? Thank you so much! :)
