Laundromat Cafe

Hi all :-)

I decided to make a different laundromat. I don't know about you, but the thought of sitting around in a clinically cold laundromat reading a newspaper whilst waiting for my washing to wash or dry is just boring! So... I have made a very comfortable place for your Simmies to wash their clothes. This laundromat features a cosy cafe upstairs, with a small library. There is also a fully enclosed kids playground outside.

Plenty of car parking available, and bike racks. Even a place to hitch your horse!

Who says you can't wash your clothes in style?

Contains items from most expansion/stuff packs as well as numerous store items.

The car park area seem a little unrealistic to me. But, anyway, nicely done, I like that .

I guess it's a 40x40 com-lot, am i right?

What do you mean by unrealistic? Is it the paving I used?

Also it's a 40x30 lot size.

No, not the paving. I mean, look at that, where's the drive way . Sims will ask: "where is that (car) coming from?", lol.

Ahh... I see what you mean. It's because I'm using a builder's world to make my houses/lots because my computer can't really handle a full world very well when building. So what you see on the "carpark side" of the lot is just a footpath. But when you place the lot on your own world, you'd put it on a corner of 2 roads

Very cleverly done!  I love builds where you've taken more than just base function into consideration.  Sure, you can have a room with some machines and a few chairs and call it good, but you transcended that and made it a place where people would WANT to come and do their laundry.  I like it a lot.
