The sculptures that become disks are the ones that are placed in the museum not the ones in the family inventory right?

Yeah, it was the ones in the museum.

At someone else's suggestion, I'm going to try traveling again, (with my files securely backed up!) and see if this was just a weird one-off glitch.

I'll keep people posted.  But I've got a huge backlog of screenshots right now, so I'll still try to post up some stuff as I go. :)

Edit:  Nope, it looks like traveling borks the Sculptures.  I might try again later (I'm thinking of having someone supermax Martial Arts, so I'll see.)

Chapter Thirty: A Taste of Immortality:

So Elshana and Imoen played, as children will often do.  This time, though, I think it was a way for them to overcome their grief.

Aunt Agnes took Uncle Cycl0n3's grave to the cemetery.

I think it was a good distraction for her to work on Elshana's portrait.

Myself, I mourned Uncle Cycl0n3, but I didn't let that stop me from cheering my adult birthday.

And after that, I went back to stomping grapes,

only to be pulled away by Aunt Agnes for my own sculpture and portrait.

What was mother doing, while this was all going on?

Well. . .

It seems that Ambrosia that Father had put into the Food Replicator would finally be used – and not a moment too soon.

My mother, the Immortal Gardener.

Oh, don't worry about it, I lurk on a whole bunch of threads; and always forget to post, so it's totally fine. :)

Just read the story from beginning to last post this morning.  Loving it!  You have really unique, and lovely, taste in clothing and I love the way your family are interacting with one another.  Nice house too!
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!

Thanks! :)  I love the ability to play with the clothing of Sims.  Maybe it's because in real life I'm the sort of person who grabs the first thing out of the closet?  :P

Nice house too!

Thank you.  I love designing stuff like that, though I don't think I'd be as good in real life.  I'm no where near as good as some of the others on this board when it comes to designing a house, but I've actually learned a lot from poking around the building guides on this site. :)

That, and my characters demanded that if they were going to be in the house, it had better be decorated right! :D

Chapter Thirty One: The Cruelty of Fate:

So, Celeste put some of her handiness to work, upgrading my Nectar Makers, so they'll make more Nectar per batch.  I'm glad she did, this is already taking a while.

What she didn't tell anyone was that this was her Adult Birthday as well!

I suppose I'm not surprised.  I think she didn't want anyone fussing over her.

Aunt Agnes got to work on my Portrait,

While Father fished at the pond near the house.

The girls played; Elshana seems determined to read through our entire collection of books,

While Imoen played around in the backyard pool.

Fate, it seems, has a sense of twisted humour.  No sooner had we stopped morning Uncle Cycl0n3, then. . . well, we all knew father was old, but somehow you never expect this. . .

But. . . well, Father faced it with courage and frankness; accepting that his time here was done.

I don't want to know if I'd have that kind of courage. . . but I suppose, oddly, if this goes well, I won't have to find out.

And Mother. . .

She was sleeping alone.

And not even her garden could console her.

I tried to hide myself in my Nectar-Making.  The concept that my Father was dead – worse yet, that I would one day loose both Celeste and Imoen – it was almost more then I could bear.

But I couldn't hide from the cruelties of fate, it seemed.

I admire my Aunt's courage so much.  To face down Death himself. . . now I that is something I could never do.

So sad :( Poor family.

I was shocked.  Two deaths, almost back-to-back; and only a bit after Cycl0n3's death. . . . yeah, the family was pretty broken up.

Indeed.

What surprised me most about this is that Agnes lived to be the oldest! Cycl0n3 and Chris are both a good bit younger then her!  She was 129 days old, I think, maybe more. (I don't remember now).  I was totally expecting her to die first!
