I've find money tree seeds near the sience centre and the criminal wearhouse.

Ah, I'll have to remember that.  I found Special Seeds near the Science Centre, but they always kept turning out to be Life Fruit or Flame Fruit. *grumble*  I never thought to look near the Criminal Warehouse.   Thanks. :)

I had that problem in my test-run. It's why Ariel was in Business for her immortality-gaining.

I've done Elisha as a Gardener a few times now, and I've never had this few Money Trees.  *sigh*  But (as I'm playing ahead), I will say that that once the Money Trees I do have started dropping seeds, it wasn't as big a problem. :)  That, and I'd like to leave Business for someone else, if I can.

And, I might have fixed (or at least helped), my crashing problem.  After asking for help here on the board, it was suggested that:

a) Close down Firefox, don't leave it running in the background.
b) Even though I've got a really good graphics card, turning down the settings might help.  So I turned down a few things, and so far, I haven't crashed yet, though it's only been about an hours worth of play.

I've read somewhere on the forum that reflections can cause crashes. Can't remember where. But you can try and turn it off.

Ok, I might give that a try too if I crash again.  Thanks! :)

I've actually had more crashes from a mirror than I care to mention until I learned to turn them off.  I hope the crashes get better!

Happy Birthday Nickolaus!  He really is a male version of Elisha.

Definitely something I'll try.  I scaled down my reflections ages ago, and so by my settings, the only thing reflecting is the mirrors.  If I crash again, I'll turn that right off.

I know.  It's kind of odd, but I like it.

I can say he doesn't seem to have passed it on, though, Gen 3 (I've played ahead quite a bit) seems to have gotten more of Chris' genetics.

Chapter Seventeen: Postcards from France:

So Celeste and I headed off to France.  I loved it there; and immediately leapt into action, making Nectar on the Nectar Makers at the Nectary (try saying that three times fast!).

Celeste took to exploring the countryside,

and exploring old tombs.

While I was still making Nectar.

Celeste also got to explore the old Landgraab mansion.

While I. . . was still making Nectar.

It was basically all I did during my trip, save for breaks to harvest the Nectary Garden.  I brought some seeds back for Mother, and the rest went into my Nectar.

I came home with over 50 bottles, and have already found several good mixes!  That's going to be great once I age them and sell them.

Celeste, however, just wants to go tomb-raiding again. To each their own, I suppose.

It looks like they enjoy their time in France! Nectar making is one of my favorite skills.

In story, they definitely did.

I as the player kind of found it a bit boring, because I didn't get any adventures with Celeste that I hadn't already done in other games, and Nick just lived at the Nectary making Nectar.

This was my first time trying it out, and I have to say, I really enjoyed it! :)

Then your fun is just starting! I love try different combinations. It is also cute if they serve the nectar and sit all together and drink it. Every sim experience it different lol!

I've been playing ahead, and yeah, Nectar Making is really quite fun. I was worried it would be dull, but it's not.

I love try different combinations.

It's a puzzle to see what works in terms of both taste and value.

I didn't notice that they all react differently. . . I'll have to pay more attention. :)

Chapter Eighteen: Perfect Timing:

It seemed simple enough.  Celeste was still working on her ice sculptures;

and Aunt Agnes had started my Portrait.

We had bought Celeste a cake for her Young Adult Birthday.  She was really looking forward to it.  “No More School!” she told me.

It wasn't a true party, just members of the family,

But in the middle of her blowing out the candles, Uncle Cycl0n3 started cheering too!  It turns out it was his Elder Birthday, and he hadn't told us.

Mother didn't mind haveing a second birthday, she was just surprised.  I don't know why Uncle Cycl0n3 didn't tell her.  Maybe he just didn't want to grow old.

Either way, Celeste whooped at growing up, (and then ran for the dresser and mirror).  Uncle Cycl0n3 was a bit more sedate about it, but he too felt the need to fix his clothing.

So . . . my Girlfriend's all grown up.

- - -

So Celeste's birthday actually stopped when Cycl0n3 aged up. She'd already blown out the candles but wasn't aging! I had to use cheats to force her to age up.  Which was kind of annoying, but not the end of the world.

And yes, Celeste has her eyes closed in most of her wardrobe shots.  I only noticed that now. *sigh*

Chapter Nineteen: Major Life Events:

No sooner did Celeste and Uncle Cycl0n3 have their birthdays, then Mother had hers.

She didn't tell anyone either, and aged up in her garden.

Of course, Father made a point of showing her she was still beautiful.  I think I understand that idea a little better then when I was a boy.

And then, Celeste and I headed down to City Hall for our Graduation.  Celeste was named Valedictorian.

After Graduation, the artistic side of the family put no time to waste in getting to work.  They didn't even bother to change!

And, later that night, I got my Lifetime Wish – we now had the Best Nectar Cellar in Sunset Valley!

Chapter Twenty: A Postcard from China:

Celeste took to Gardening as well as she had to Painting and Sculpting.  She helped Elisha plant and tend not only her current garden, but also the rare Nectar Grapes we brought back from France.

And Aunt Agnes finished everything for my Immortal Museum.

Then, Aunt Agnes started work on Mother's part of the museum, now that Mother was an Elder.

Here's the Museum as a whole, though mother's stuff isn't done yet.

Celeste also took a trip to China.  She said she had some problems with lag, but her Watcher got it at least mostly fixed.

. . . I'm not sure what that means, so I'm just not going to ask.

Anyway, she also brought back some pictures.

I think the event that most rattled the family, though,  was just after Celeste came back home.

Father had his elder Birthday!

It seems like none of the Elders like to throw a party, so he aged up in the bathroom.  I don't understand why this keeps happening!

And now, Celeste and I are the only two non-elders in the house.  This is going to be either very boring, or very interesting.

- - -

So when I sent Celeste to China, I had some serious lag problems.  I managed to fix them by consistently using the 'resetSim *' command (which was suggested here, and I don't remember who suggested it, sorry).  That made China nicely playable. :)  And I didn't loose Celeste's locked wishes, which I hear can sometimes happen when you reset a sim.
