Chapter Twenty-One: Changes and Portents:


Celeste worked up the nerve to ask my Father for his blessing on our relationship.



It was really sweet of her, actually. She's always been just a touch odd, but this was just her being . . . well, sweet.  Father didn't mind.  He's used to her by now.  We all are.


So, with my Father's permission securely established, what was once a Teenage crush and romance moved to something more serious;




though I beat her to the proposal part of this relationship. 




She, of course, said yes.




Despite being quite happily engaged to a wonderful woman, my work for the Dynasty had to continue. 



Besides which, I had some ideas for a wedding I think Celeste will love.


I wasn't the only one who was thinking about the Dynasty.  I think Mother nearly fainted when she saw Father making Ambrosia. 



The plan is that the Ambrosia will go into the Food Replicator, so that it won't go bad, and to get lots of it from one serving.  But I don't think knowing that helped Mother's nerves one bit.

China just lags horribly.  It's because Sims can get stuck.

Chapter Twenty-Two: Pictures from Egypt:


Being engaged didn't stop Celeste from travelling around the world.

So; she sent back some of her pictures.

















And when she got back, the first thing she did is remind me how much she'd missed me, and I'd missed her.

Chapter Twenty-Three:  Eloping to France:

So I was working along on making Nectar to age and eventually sell;



while Father upgraded the Nectar Making machines.  They'll make more nectar from the same amount of fruit now.



Celeste helped Mother tend her garden;



and Fished in the family pond.  She and Father had stocked it with fish from around the world.



But. . . remember that wedding I was thinking about?  I wanted it away from the bustle of family life.

So, we eloped to France.






When we got back; we celebrated our wedding.




It seemed we weren't the only ones celebrating.

Chapter Twenty-Four: Family Freak-Out:

So when Celeste started getting cravings for Watermelons;



and being sick in the mornings,



it didn't take long for us to put two-and-two together.

I'm going to be a father!

Both Celeste and I read up on everything we could.




Though I have to say, in this family; things don't stop even for a pregnant woman.   Mother still made her trips down to the Consignment store, desperate to top out her career;



Aunt Agnes finished up this stage of the Museum;



while Celeste herself kept sculpting; and fixing things.




Well, she always has been determined, so even being pregnant wouldn't stop her from doing what she wanted.

As for me?  Well, I was going to be the best husband and father possible. . .




. . . even if, -- despite the reading I'd done – I didn't have a clue about what to actually do.



Though Mother and Uncle Cycl0n3 weren't any help either.




Celeste herself was. . . well. . . not the most coherent. . .



Regardless, say hello to Elshana,



and Imoen!

So,for those of you who recognize the name, yes, Imoen is based on Imoen from Baldur's Gate, and yes, she will have pink hair.    Elshana was consistently my main character when I played; so it just seemed to make sense when the game decided to give me twins.

Chapter Twenty-Five: Parenting Break:

So having twins proved to be a bit. . . stressful for Celeste.

Thank goodness Uncle Cycl0n3 was there to help with them.



Celeste. . . well, seeing that the girls were in good hands, she headed off to China for a break from the twins. She'd bought a vacation home the last time she was there, so now seemed like the perfect time to use it.



She got some adventures from looking at the notice board,



and ended up learning Martial Arts.





She got a chance to try out the board breaker at the Academy, too.




Though I have trouble believing it, she even learned to meditate!



Then, after catching a few fish,



she came home to the girls; and was ready to give them all the attention they needed.

Chapter Twenty-Six: Settling In:

With Celeste back from China, things turned relatively predictable.

Father helped with the girls,




while Celeste and I attended to Dynastic matters.




Though when I told her that Father could help her fix the bathtub, she just shrugged. 



All too suddenly, it was time for our two young girls to grow up.

First Elshana;




then Imoen.




I'm quite sure all fathers think this, but I think they're the most beautiful girls in the world.

Sorry that I didn't have a lot of baby shots. I wasn't taking that many screenshots, I was more playing through.  The screenshots I did have of Imoen, I just wasn't happy with.

Chapter Twenty-Seven: Toddlers and Travel

So Elshana started reading almost right away.  She really enjoys those books.



Imoen . . . was a bit more troublesome,



but still adorable.

And when they are asleep, the house is quiet.




Celeste took a brief trip to China.  While there, she accomplished two things.

First: She got her hands on the artifact known as Pangu's Axe.  She said it will be a blessing to anyone who goes adventuring.



Second:  Not only did she become one of the best painters I've ever seen;



she also got her 25th ice sculpture.




Back home, Father and Uncle Cycl0n3 taught the girls their life skills.













Uncle Cycl0n3 even helped tuck them in to bed.




Nectar Making was keeping me incredibly busy; but I still tried to make some time for the girls.



After all, they were both my beautiful girls.   Even if. . . even if Elshana will live forever while Imoen won't. 

. . . . I don't really want to think about that.
