The Conell Dynasty: Take Two

So here's my re-do of the Conell Dynasty. 

I decided to still use Elisha, since I like the 1rst Gen Gardener; and you might see some familiar characters, since the sims in question were based on characters from my own writing and works. So there may be some repeated characters.  I will have to see.

Hopefully this time, I won't glitch out! (Though I found a few things that might help this time. )

So; brief author's notes:

1) This is not official.  I am using some mods (some are bug-fixes, some I just like), and so I'm not going for Hall of Heroes.
2) There will be differences between this and my last attempt. I will see what happens, and go from there.
3) This time, my Table of Contents and Immortals Info won't be in my first post! 
4) I still am not the best at taking screen-shots. Apologies.
5) I -hope- to do more with travel then I did previously.  We shall see.
6) I have some new ideas from various dynasties/deca-dynasties I've been reading, so once again, thank you all for your inspiration.

Chapter One: New Beginnings:

My name is Elisha Conell.  I'm a farmer, a gardener.  And now, apparently, possibly immortal.



I keep having visions.  Visions of a life I might have had, a life where I lived far longer then I should.  These visions haunt me, and demand an explanation.  There is a malignant power behind them. Do I want to participate?  No.  Do I have a choice?  It would seem not.

Either way, I can't just sit here and mope.  According to the visions, I need to be the best farmer in all of Sunset Valley, so I might as well start now.

First; a trip to the grocery store to get some produce to plant;




And then – oh boy. 



I remember him from my visions.  I. . . I fall in love with him, I think.  This is starting to get very weird.

Despite the protesters, we talk and talk, until the wee hours of the night.




I even work up the courage to gift him one of my apples.



I end up telling him everything.  My visions, my empty plot of land. . .

and he doesn't think me crazy.  Or at least, if he does he's kind enough not to show it.

Instead, he invites me back to his house.



We share dinner, and then we both fall asleep in his double bed.

Hello all!

So I haven't forgotten, but life's gotten in the way of Simming the last few months. . .  Between looking for a job, a heavy schoolwork load, and what little free time I have being distracted by Mass Effect 2 (and the upcoming release of Mass Effect 3), I haven't touched the Sims in a bit.

I'm hoping that will change soon; or at the very least, I can get some screenshots up.   

(And yes, it's basically the same notice on both my stories, since I'm being lazy and don't have a lot of time right now.  But I wanted people to know that I hadn't forgotten. )

Chapter Two: A Household of People:

So after getting a few e-mails from this site, I came back to visit, and have had my Simming bug rekindled for now.  I make no promises, since Mass Effect 3 will eat my life, I suspect. . . But for now, here's some more from the Conell family. )

I talked more to Chris while at his place.  I have a vague memory of marrying him here, but I can't let these crazy memories control my life. . . . even if he is cute.



So, I asked him to move in, instead.



To which, he happily agrees.

I kind of feel bad.  I have almost no money after this big house got built; so the bed, for now, is pretty horrible.  I'll be able to get better things when I start selling more of my produce.



Speaking of which, I'd better get to work. 



It's not the lavish garden I remember, but it will do.

But there's something else.   Something that, if I remember right, will really help us out.

And with that I go seek out Agnes Crumplebottom.




I even talk her into coming out to the bar with me.



It was late one night when I asked her if she wanted to move in with Chris and I.



That was when I found out she was rich!  She's already agreed to sell her car; and her house.  We're going to have a -lot- of money. . .

Wow.  Those contractors are going to have a field day finishing the house.

Chapter Three:  Romance is in the Air:


So I met this guy one day.  I chattered with him just outside his house.



He goes by his hacker alias, Cycl0n3 Sw0rd.  Weird, but he seemed nice enough, even if he is a bit inappropriate sometimes.




And it came to me at the dinner table, while talking to Chris, that Agnes seemed. . . well, lonely.



So, I invited Cycl0n3 over.  He spent a good deal of time just playing on that stupid laptop of his.



But Agnes, much to my surprise, fell for him.




She asked the big, awkward question of if he was single.



The answer was, yes he was!

So, after some soul-searching, Agnes worked up her nerve.



And the next time he came over;



But Agnes' budding romance wasn't all that was going on. . .

Though Chris and I aren't nearly as photogenic. I think it's because we didn't have the lamps put up outside yet.  Those contractors for the house do good work, but they're slow. . .

Ahem.  I'm getting distracted.





Maybe there really is something in the air. . .

I'm sorry for the dark shots of Chris and Elisha.  That's just how it played out. . . *grumble*

Grrr. . . .

So my game keeps crashing at one specific spot; with Elisha in her garden.  Gen 2 is born (won't say any more), so maybe it's got something to do with a baby?

That, and I don't know if Agnes is going to get her 25th Ice Sculpture in time for Elisha's Adult Birthday, or Gen 2's toddler sculpture.  This is a much more troublesome start then last time, and I don't think it's a good omen!

Edit: So I got past the crash.  I don't know what was causing it.  Weird. . . .

Here's hoping Agnes can pull some magic and get those Ice Sculptures done.   If not, I'll at least have the portraits; so I technically won't have to re-start. (But I like having all the sculptures - it's why I restarted from last time.)

Pictures in the moonlight is suppose to be romantic and if there is too much light the romance is gone I'm glad the game stopped crashing. Great update.
