My sim missed going to her ballet recital, and I wanted to know if she would have another or if it was too late. Can sims have prom Multiple times also?

Proms are a one time thing, as well.

Okay. While I have this thread up has anyone else had trouble with grounded teens not being allowed to go to school? and then being grounded for skipping school?

From my experience there is a prom something like every 4 sim weeks?

And I am also certain the recital opportunity will come up again, like all opportunity's, ones you decline usually come up again somewhere down the line

All would depend on what your settings are regarding age length and because you can alter each age group for example My teens are teens for 120 sim days, young adults 95, adults 250, elders 70, if the settings are quite short the chance of getting opportunity's/proms more than once is unlikely...

The problem with the ballet recital (and scout badging ceremony, and high school club award ceremony) opportunities is that they seem to happen a day or two before the child or teen ages up, no matter what age settings you're on. I think by the time they've expired, there just wouldn't be time for it to come up again - maybe if you're playing on Normal, but switch to Epic until it comes up again?

Also, is the child still enrolled in ballet? Normally the recital/ceremony ends the student's participation in the after-school activity.

I've had a teen go to two proms when playing on a Long lifespan, but only if a younger sibling aged up to teen before the older one graduated.

The grounded teen question should probably go in its own thread.
