Yes, that was the whole reason for the new version I think :D

Plus to make it so that you didn't have to have Pets to install it.

One thing I've noticed is that because the Arboretum is placed in the Cemetary, it no longer shows up as the Cemetary on the World Map. I circled around for a while trying to find it to send my Sim there with some tombstones...almost posted on the forum that the graveyard was gone! Went into Edit Map and looked at all the Community Lot tags to see where it was. I don't know if there's anyway to fix that besides moving the Arboretum, however...

If you have all EPs then I would get the newest version.

Did anyone see my routing issue post? Has anyone looked into this?

I'm really sorry if this is in the wrong section. I was having trouble locating the UC thread. I'm not sure if I overlooked it or what.

Anyway, I have a routing issue with UC that I'm not really sure how to fix. The issue comes from KonFusion. I found that there is a little light in front of the sprial staircase that prevents Sims from going up. After deleting it, they were able to get up just fine. But now they can't get down. I'm not really sure why. I can't seem to find what is blocking the way. I was able to successfully move my Sim by teleporting here, but I'll end up getting up messages every 5 seconds saying that other Sims won't be to leave.

I would just enter build mode and move stuff around and test it, once you have it clear and working should not have any unroutable sims.
I had to do this with UC and Sunset Valley 7.0 and then afterwards the npc sims don't get stuck anymore.

I'll have to it seems.

This is still an issue that should be looked into. The creators of the neighborhood need to fix this so that when the neighborhood is uploaded, there shouldn't be this routing issue.

Hey Everyone,

So I just downloaded Union Cove for the first time. I got the Seasons one because I have all the expansions.

This may seem like a dumb question but... where do I extract the file to? Do I put it in the 'Installed Worlds' folder or 'Downloads' or something else?

Cheers,

Gabi

You don't have to put it in a game folder. You can just choose "Extract here". Then you'll get the sims 3 file you need and you can doubleclick that to install the world through your game launcher.
Problem? Don't panic! There is always a solution. You just have to find it  :D

So I double clicked the Union Cove file and then the launcher opened up, but nothing appeared to direct me to installing the file. So I just clicked the play icon and waited for the main menu, clicked on 'new game' but Union Cove wasn't there.

I'm feeling pretty stupid :/

@Gabsiela after extracting it to a folder location you know, try to move (cut/paste) the Union Cove.Sims3Pack file in the archive to the Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Downloads folder, from there you can probably install it manually using the launcher's Downloads tab.

I'll give it a go!

ADD: It totally worked  :) My thanks to both Odie and Carl for your help.

I just wanted to say thanks for updating the world, and a HUGE thank you for making it! The tiny towns and lack of options were starting to annoy me, but I feel like a kid in a free candy store. It's such a great world. Thank you for making it!

Hey, this forum is great, it has been helping me out!
I still have one problem though. I currently have pets and supernatural and I have downloaded V3 of union cove.
I also downloaded the save file and extracted it into saves folder too.
But when I choose the union cove as a new town, it starts to download but then stops somewhere in the middle :(
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks for your help :)))

You don't need to download the save file if you have all the expansion packs.  Delete the save file and retry.  Should work. :)
