Time machine question. Need help quick.

I have made my sim invent a time machine. When my sim goes to the past my sim got stuck. Will my sim come out on his own or do I have to cancel the activity?

He will come back eventually. It's a rabbit hole so you can't see him or interact with him while he's in there. If you want him back early just cancel the action and he will come back

Thanks. My sim did come back and had it seemed he had a blast. My sim came back with a good adventure moodlet.
