Cow Plant~ How are you using it?

I was just wondering what terrible things people are doing with their Cow Plant.
I personally have placed them in the parks and graveyards.

It's available as part of a set; I don't think it can be purchased separately yet.

Actually it's telling me it's still not available for individual sale *sigh* I want a cowplant, sell me one Maxis!  I wish I were more interested in the rest of the set items, cause then I might just get it that way, but I only want the cow plant.

P.s. They have alot of fun at the Cafe' and Theater, not so much at the park. When I checked on the one there, he was dead.

I very rarely go on the sims 3 website and my internet connection at home is useless for downloading items but the release of the Cow Plant is awesome!

However, at the moment I don't have enough store points to buy it. Does anyone know if they still give you 1,000 store points when you register your game with them? I have yet to add generations and pets to my account as I only recently got them

I have one at my sims home, and only get to feed it, play it, and seems like one other option. How do you get it to do other things?

If you don't feed it or play with it, it will get hungry and bored after about 3 days or so then it will stick his cake tounge out. If a sim then tries to grab the cake he could get it or get eaten and spit up dirty, or end up dead.

I know that brave sims will go for the cake.  On my public lots it hasn't killed anyone. I never see tombstones, But they have fun with it. They play with it and feed it.

Only for the base game and WA I think. Maybe Ambiions too

Wait, Cow Plants can die?
Your Sim can play with it so I assume your Sim can befriend the plants. Do they show up in their friendlier panel?
And do Botanic sims have more interactions with it, it a faster friendship level gaining?

Yep! If you don't feed it for 7 days, it starves. A little difference with its parent in the Sims 2.

And from what I've read on some mod site, where someone looked into the code, I don't think the cow plant can kill npc's. So maybe it's also harmless on community lot.
