Disk Authorization failure: Only after Pets update

Ugh it's happening again! I tried reseting my computer after the first few times I tried, but nothing different. Do you guys have any other ideas?

I'm thinking you are going to have to completely uninstall and reinstall everything from scratch. Sorry Simlish!

Aaah I was hoping I wouldn't have to but it happens. I guess i'll do that tomorrow! (or later tonight )

It's still happening after reinstalling it! I tried putting it in my disk cleaner, but it didn't help. I remember my friend showing me a video for filling in scratches on a cd, so I may try that too. I just need some soda! (which we practically never have in the house because most of us don't drink it)

I too have encountered this error on my MacBook Pro. I am using LittleSnitch to monitor apps attempts to access the internet. The two or three times that I received the error, LittleSnitch had prevented an EA program (sorry the name escapes me) from accessing the Internet until I had reviewed and approved the link.

There were a large number of URLs that the program was trying to reach and while I approved them all, I received the authentication error afterwards.

I configured LittleSnitch to grant the EA program unlimited outbound access to any URL and have not had a reoccurrence of the authorization failure - so far.

Firewalls and routers may also block outbound traffic unless a rule is in place to permitt the connections.

So when I open TS3 to the menu, almost every time I get the Disk Authorization Failure. I just tried to play, and opened it at least 4 different times, each time getting it. It's starting to really be a nuisance. This has only happened after I installed Pets. I did a factory reset and a complete reinstall. It helped for awhile, but it's back to being difficult. I hope someone can help me.

I think this mod may help you. Note, however, that twallan lists the patch level required as 1.00 - 1.29 - so I don't think it's updated to the new patch yet.
