create a pattern tool

i downloaded the sims 3 create a pattern tool to my desktop computer.  i am running windows 7 but i do not know how to find it in the game.  can someone point me in the right direction?  any help will be greatly appreciated.  thank you.

There may be a more sophisticated way, but you can click on the windows button (lower left of your screen) and  search for "create a pattern".

Create a Pattern Tool isn't in the game itself.  It is a separate application.  If you keep it on your desktop you just click on it there.  At least that is the way it is for mine.
