Danica is stunning. I supermaxed logic twice both in failed decadynasties. It is quite easy so long as you start early enough. Tutoring a child should be easy as Danica has younger siblings. I found it helpful to use vacation days to work on the chess challenge.

Thanks. I'm going to be sad to leave her behind when I start the next generation!

Now see, I had no idea I could do the chess challenge on vacation. I was just planning on saving the telescope for last and doing that on vacation of I needed. This is why I love this forum. Everyone is so helpful! Thank you ratchie!

The only catch with doing the chess tournament on vacation is if your next opponent is one of the shopkeepers.  I had that happen with the Faes and I finally gave up because every time I invited the guy over for a chess match he said he was working - even early in the morning and late at night.  I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get easy opponents to get a hold of.

So you can't do say, half of the tournament while on vacation and then finish it at home?

Sure you can.  It's just that if you get a shop keeper as an opponent on vacation you would be better off working on other challenges and finishing the chess tournament at home because it is unlikely he/she will ever be available for the rest of your vacation.

Ok, that's what I was planning. Do as many chess matches as I can on vacation, and if I run into a shopkeeper, just go home and finish there. Thank you for all your help. :)

Ch. 15: Really, Story Progression?

Cedric and Danica have been spending some quality sibling time together, which is great for Cedric, because his sister never tires of his jokes.

Somehow, Carmen gets the courage up to teach Cedric how to drive. I would recommend not taking the expensive car, but Carmen must have some great confidence in him.

Davy is doing it right and teaching Danica to drive in the cheaper car.

Danica brought a friend home from school one day. His name is Monte Norman, and he is a townie. That would be great if Danica were the heir, but it really stinks because there are no female teenagers townies in Hidden Springs currently. Story Progression must have something against little girls. But we'll just have to wait and see what happens. Maybe Monte will grow to love our Insane Danica?

Little Cody has been taught all his skills and has learned all he can from his toys, but he still thinks they taste great.

Carmen has taken a note from her daughter's book and has been a little more spontaneous. Here she is giving Danica a run for her money in a pillow fight.

Finally, it's time for Cody's child birthday.

He also added the trait Family-Oriented.

Speaking of birthdays, Simba and Cassy also have theirs. First is Cassy.

Then Simba.

I hope the game spawns some eligable males, don't they know that you are working on a decadynasty here.

Rachel, she needs girls, for Cedric. I hope you get some, too. On the other hand, he can wait until he's a young adult and start scoping the school.

Haha, it's okay Rachel. I made a point to watch for which teenagers came out of the school with Danica and Cedric one day, and Monte was the only one. There aren't any other male teenage townies either! Luckily, Cody is in school now, so hopefully there's a townie girl in his class.

Maybe Cody will meet some nice girls when he goes to school and he can introduce one of them to his big brother.  That way they might be all grown up by the time Cedric is an adult and able to marry. Probably going for a younger model would be a good idea less risk of the bride to be aging up early and putting the dynasty at risk.

You can try and hire a babysitter for Cody. Maybe the game spawns a girl.
