Ch. 9: The Second Heir

So, this is Davy's home. I added the small portion on the right side of the house. It was a little small for my liking.

This is the entryway/living room.

The kitchen/dining area.

The master bedroom.

Only these three rooms are fully furnished currently. This is because even though Carmen has been working hard on making sculptures...

She is also pregnant!

Davy's LTW is One Sim Band. Since he's only a few days away from becoming an Elder, I'm not so sure if he'll reach that goal. He works hard trying to learn as much as he can, though.

Carmen and Davy received quite a few wedding gifts, so Carmen sits down and writes a bunch of thank you letters.

And before you know it, Carmen goes into labor.

Davy is a little unsure about what to do.

It's time!!

Everyone, meet Cedric Abbot! His traits are Friendly and Good.

Cedric is the apple of Carmen's eye.

She even goes home to introduce him to her mother and brother.

But of course, Davy makes time for his little nooboo, too.

Ch. 10: The Baby Swing

...is the best store content. It's cheaper than a crib and it raises almost all need bars. Oh, and the animations are really cute! Carmen loves leaving Cedric in the swing for hours at a time.

And Cedric loves to be in it for hours at a time!

Carmen rolled the wish to have a girl and to have a child with Davy, so I couldn't pass up all of those Happiness Points.

Also, Davy found a way to achieve his LTW. As soon as he got enough Happiness Points to change his LTW, I changed it to Swimming in Cash. Carmen just happened to have over 60,000 points in her bank, so I bought two Inheritances. Cha-ching! The house got another addition and a new car. And since Davy originally came with the cat shirt for his sleepwear, I eventually changed his traits to Cat Person, Family-Oriented, Handy, Virtuoso, and something else... So the house then gained a furry friend. Meet Moe. I named him after my favorite cat.

On the morning of Cedric's birthday, Carmen finds herself pregnant again.

Cedric turned into a very cute toddler. Let's hope he doesn't inherit the family's weight genes like Uncle Malcolm did.

I loev this Zebra design by Gheez. It's a little cut off on Cedric's shirt, but I still like it. You can find it here.

Davy spends time teaching Cedric his skills.

He even spends some time winking at Carmen's tummy.

This is something that I had been putting off for a while. Upon moving in, I discovered that Catarina Vanderburg was a Romantic Interest of Davy's! Each time Davy went to her house though, she would leave. I guess she was avoiding the inevitable. Or maybe Davy was just avoiding asking her to be friends. I'd be scared of an angry Vampire who is Leader of the Free World too!

And while Davy is out doing the right thing, Carmen gives birth to her second child.

Meet Danica!

But during Carmen's pregnancy, Davy rolled the wish to have a boy. $:-\$ So off the two went to Try for Baby!

Davy's Elder birthday arrives.

I forgot to snap a picture while in CAH, but here's Davy right afterwards! I decided to keep the gray hair.

Ch. 11: Birthdays and Cute Screenies

It's still too early to be getting any progress done except for the collection (gonna keep going til Carmen gets 10 Masterpieces), so here's a quick little update to keep you all reading.

Firstly, Davy rolls the wish to adopt a cat, so meet Jinx!

She and Moe get along very well. Maybe there are kittens in the future?

And here is an adorable picture of the cats on the cat condo.

Here are some shots of the second expansion on the house. The dining/living room got converted into just a dining room and the expansion became the living room. Can I just say that I really like furniture that came with Pets?

Davy and Carmen make sure to spend time with their children.

Davy helps Cedric learn his skills.

And Cedric spends time with his new friend.

I love the laser pointer animation.

My real cat Moe was too smart to chase after a laser, though!

Danica's birthday quickly passes.

And she turns into an adorable toddler. Shirt pattern by Gheez.

Davy, being the Family-Oriented sim he is, teaches Danica all of her skills for some valuable LTH points.

Soon, it's time for Cedric's child birthday. I'm sad to see his cute little toddler curls go, though.

Here's Carmen as a child. Don't she and Cedric look just alike?!

Thanks. I'm more of a dog person, but the cats have really cute animations! I think Danica turned into a really cute toddler. She seems to have more of a mixture of Carmen and Davy's gentics.

Ch. 12: Third Time's the Charm

So, at this point in the story, Davy currently has three wishes. Have a Child, Have a Child with Carmen, and Have a Boy. I have no choice but to grant him these wishes!

Meanwhile, Cedric has been spending some time running around in his dinosaur costume.

He won't even take it off to play with Danica. I'll admit I think it's pretty precious.

Carmen finally went into labor with her third nooboo. The labor pains are always entertaining to watch.

However, the full picture was much, much better! Poor Carmen screaming in pain and Cedric shrieking in shock. And there's old Davy just happy as can be, even though he's not watching.
