Fish are still not making the journey home from foreign destinations.  My sim had fish in her inventory along with a Chinchilla, Scarlet King Snake, a stack of beetles and butterflies which all came home... but not the fish.  I didn't intentionally take the fish (I just forgot to clear the inventory) but when I realised I had extra stuff in there, I found the fish all gone on arrival in France.

Ansd speaking of France and she found almost no adventures.  The first day she did the Forgotten Burial Mound one and then the next day the only adventure that was available was that Frogs and Make it Snappy one which I nixed when it got to the crocodiles part.  Third day, only one adventure on the board again - the making Nectar one (which took all day so I'm not really sure if there was another on the board later on) and then days 4, 5 and 6 nothing at all... zip... nada!

I know this problem was brought up on the forum before the patch but back then I could get the recurring adventures... just not any tomb ones.  This is a new Sim created since the patch and I have never encountered consecutive days with nothing.  I did use up some lifetime reward points to get the Prepared Traveller.  Is it the patch or the Prepared Traveller or something else glitching WA?

I had the exact same problem which began with the 'making nectar' quests. I did eventually, after restarting, get enough visa points to have a level 3 visa, which was what I was aiming for, but it was only barely. Had I wanted to do all the quests I'd have been in trouble!

Has anyone else noticed that with this patch the baby sim animations are different?

I have yet to download this patch. Probably because I never use the launcher except for downloading store stuff. Thanks for putting this thread back at the top of the list Alex. Going to download it now, than I'll let you know.

Are they? How so? I haven't played a baby sim yet, and won't for a while.

I'll admit I've never stared at a baby too close. But this time, I started a new game and had Claire and Chris get married. Her baby Cierra was lying in the crib and I was looking really closely at her, and I can actually see her breathing, and she was also blinking her eyes. So if that's what you mean, yes I had never seen that before.

They've always breathed and blinked - can you imagine how creepy it would be if the baby sims just lay there motionless with their eyes open? Maybe they made the motion a little less subtle, though.

I'm intrigued by "•An issue that caused Sims to go invisible when traveling to a Vacation world has been fixed ." - and kind of frightened that I have to ask "Which one?"

I didn't encounter this issue until i DID install patch 1.29! Very odd. I'm thinking it might be caused by buying a vacation home - because when I did, a few days into their vacation, they turned invisible. And again, this was after installing the patch..

Really? Like I said, I've never played close attention to them so that was the first time I'd seen that! Yeah, it would be creepy, I just never payed attention haha. So, what did you mean Alex?

Oh I just noticed that in their little player box that they looked a lot different with this patch. I'm probably the only one who noticed this since I can be a little too observant sometimes.

I still have to get it... Does any one know if the boardingschool glitch is fixed? I had a sim in boardingschool and his older siter got married and with her husband moving in the boy moved in again too. It said he was still in baordingschool, I couldn't get him out or resend him. I had to delete him to get him back into boardingschool.

Edit: I installed it and got error 12 over and over again... anyone else got this?

The main issue I am having with this patch is considered an extremlly major and annoying issue. I can save maybe once or twice before I start getting an Error 12 error when saving, basically preventing me from saving. I have tried both save and save as, even tried an auto saver mod after three days of frustration, and still getting error 12 after the first or second save. I don't even have any custom content nor run any mods except for trying the auto saver.

I'm not sure that Patch 1.29 is actually causing your Error 12. And Dolphinsong, please refrain from speaking about a certain mod here, it's against the forum rules.

Here's a thread on some other forum members problems with this same error: Error 12

If you search at the bar up top it will bring up a myriad of other threads about the same thing as well. I hope that helps! :)
