Importing to CAW

Does anyone know if its possible to import a world from the sims 3, for example, Appaloosa Plains to CAW? I was thinking if you evict all households then could somehow get the world file and put it in CAW you could edit it.

Any Ideas?

No, with regular tools provided by EA, it is not an option.

Grimsoul has some some that he has done and shared with me, you could ask him. I downloaded all the worlds pre-pets and counted all the spawners, then when pets came out I got appaloosa plains too.

I've  wondered about that also because I saw the French town at the Sims exchange. It was the same one you get to go to on vacation but it was available for download as a regular playable town. I didn't get it because it didn't specify no CC but it's a great idea.

So does anyone know how it might be done?

There is another popular website that gives a detailed tutorial. Try googling it - I can't tell you the website because they discuss and host mods.

There are even videos on Youtube, but they all involve 3rd party applications, which is why my answer was:

Now that rule about mods and 3rd party content is changed, we can share the information here :)

To do this, you'll need S3PE application available here.
