Heartbreaker LTW -- How do you get the other person to get into a relationship

I have a Sim, Enrique Rivera, whose lifetime wish is to be a heartbreaker.  The first person he conquered was a man, Stiles. The seduction went down perfectly.  He woohooed and asked Stive to go steady and then dumped him.   Now he has moved onto Tamra Britt.  He has tried romancing and got her in the sack, too. Nevertheless, the "ask to be girlfriend" never comes up.  Does woohooing automatically mean they are a couple or does it need to be a formal question?

Welcome to our Forum!

It needs to be the specific question.  Sometimes the option to ask the romantic questions doesn't come up and we don't know exactly why.  It could be mood, relationships of the other person, etc.  Just keep trying or move on to the next target.

I just found this forum today and am very excited.  I just started playing Sims 3 recently.

It's weird that the question won't pop up.  They woohooed and then "tried for a baby" right afterwards.  I find that this wish is hard to achieve because it take so long to romance other Sims
BTW -- Enrique is charismatic, flirty, great kisser, artistic, and party animal.
He has purchased the eye candy LT reward.
He is in the musician/rock star career.

It's hard to get them to advance in the career and focus on this love conquest.
Also, can you woohoo when on vacation or ask a foreign Sim to be a bf/gf?  He went to Egypt with his brother and sister and was trying to romance the other tourists, but struck out at getting them to commit.

I think it was very alluring at the time.


When he was irrestible, he went for the woohoo because it was a wish.  Maybe he wasn't all that in bed so he never got the nerve to ask to go steady?

I was able to romance a couple of locals in China and Egypt when World Adventures first came out.  I haven't tried recently.

You should try when he's irresistable. The time to get to bed sometimes drops your.. uhh.. shall I say.. 'romance level' to alluring or flirty or just okay.

There is a glitch where you can't marry but that doesn't mean you have it.

I think that, without glitches, you should be able to both woohoo and declare foreigners boyfriends/girlfriends even with the recent patches. Any change to that was not among the changelists for the patches at least!

I'll have Enrique try to get Tamra Britt to commit to the relationship again.  Otherwise, he'll just move on to another.

Yeah, like others have said it is probably mood of the other person, or any other romantic relationships they might have. Have you done the "Ask if Single" interaction? That would tell you if they have any romantic relationships going on that would prevent you from going steady with them.

The way I do it is collect about ten romantic interests, then invite them over one at a time...ask to be bf/gf, then immediately dump that person and call over the next romantic interest.
 
It does help with that LTW if you have no career so you can focus on a social life. Make a living painting, playing guitar, digging in trashcans, mooching, stealing, or whatever other means you can. Guitar is great...because you can earn a living and increase your social status at that same time.

Okay, I am at the point of major frustration with Miss Tamra Britt.  Enrique has fathered one illegitimate child with her.  They made out at the beach party ad nauseum.  He held a house party and did the "awesome party makeout", woohooed, tried for a baby.  he was Extremely irresistable, but still there was no option to make her the girlfriend/wife/etc.

Keep in mind that he has a couple of other romantic interests, but no kissing/woohoo with them.

The ex (Stiles) was not at the last party. 

I tried resetSim and nothing changed.

At this point, he'll never complete his lifetime wish.  I don't get.  He has gotten so far with her several times, but still can't get this question to pop up.  I am beginning to think something is glitchy. 

Has anyone had this problem?  Should I switch the LTW?

Are you certain that Tamra doesn't have a partner or a romantic interest?  Have you tried with another Sim?  It may just be a problem with Tamra.

I gave up on Tamra.  I tried the "mean" option to see if by chance the "break-up" would occur as a choice.  Nothing.  So I had Enrique tell her that he just wanted to be friends.  She was upset, but it didn't contribute to the LTW.

So, he switched to another Sim -- Vinnie Degretano.  Again, he had lots of success in inviting him over, seducing him, getting him in bed. etc.  No boyfriend/steady/proposal question. 

It worked with Stiles, but that was before the trip to Egypt.  Could that have something to do with it?

It getting frustrating/boring spamming these romantic socials.  I had them making out in front of the Bistro for hours!!

I think that I will try to get his brother or sister married off just to see if it works for them
