Getting something like this before it's release date is, for the most part, illegal. 

Any pre-release that EB offers early as a club benefit would have to be agreed to with the company releasing it...and I can't imagine that's easy to do lol.

I understand that they can't normally sell games early, but they must have some agreements in place, otherwise it wouldn't be part of their rewards program (it does say on selected titles). I was just hoping Sims was on the list.

Why didn't you opt for release date shipping?  It was only $0.99 for me.

There wasn't the option for some reason, I don't know why.

I'm so jealous! I wasn't able to pre-order it from Origin. I tried contacting customer service.. Well you guys can probably can guess how that went! I get paid later this week so I'll probably try and just order it from Amazon. I really wanted the free SP though!

I ordered mine from Amazon on Monday and there was the option for release date delivery and I don't think I paid anything extra, if I did, I don't remember, I was just excited to think I would get it the next day, lol.  I really didn't think I would get it yesterday, but low and behold, I did.  That was pretty neat not having to pay a large amount for overnight delivery.

I pre-ordered mine from Origin and haven't gotten it yet.  I've gotten the shipping notice already, so maybe it will come today.

I have to wait until Friday. It will be a long day tomorrow lol. I just hope the store where I buy my games get it Friday, to wait until next week will be torture!

That's what I always pay with Amazon and it was at my door by late afternoon.  This time around I had Amazon Prime and it was free release day arrival.

Mine has been dispatched!  I hope it comes for Friday but I rather expect it will be Saturday. I just hope it comes by Saturday otherwise I won't have it till Monday. No post on Sundays.

Do you have a Best Buy near you?  I know my local store is having a Buy 1 Get 1 Free sale on all Sims 3 games that ends March 10th.  That is where I go my copy of Showtime.  It includes every Sims 3 games, not just SPs.

I went to Walmart with every intention of NOT getting Showtime, and walked out with a Limited Edition!
So much for self-control. Good thing I get paid tomorrow.

I wasn't to interested in this EP until I saw allllll the new incredible hair and clothing, furniture etc. The tower of cupcakes! Ahhh it's like they read my mind

Just got home from our morning walk, which takes us right past EB, so I have my copy. Just about to install it now. Yay
