Not sure but you see the new town and clothes in the live broadcast they did, there's a link on this thread somewhere I believe. *Too lazy to search for it*

Here's the direct link to the Starlight Shores video. It shows new rabbitholes, some cool modern houses, and a cute little beach bar with a pool table and what I'm almost certain is a jukebox.

I can't find the video of just the clothing, but this link from a few pages back has plenty of screenshots from the livechat, including some of the new CAS items. Here's a hairstyle that for some reason I find intriguing:

Thanks everyone! The video just convinced me I'll buy the game, I'm not blown away by it but it looks cool and it may have some cool features. The new town doesn't look on par with other towns they've made, looks more like a bland seaside world with loads of cool new buildings in. I like the buildings though, they all look modern and cool.

The town looks to be modeled after Hollywood, California.

I'm with you, as in not being blown away. I was very disappointed when the content for the game was revealed,  I had always planned to get this EP because I'm just one of those people who like "sets" of things like books, games and movies. Although when I saw the video I knew I had to get it because I lived in Southern CA for several years, I miss it a lot and this town looks so southern CA.

For me, this is a definite improvement to Late Night. They should have had some of this stuff then. Now, the thing to see is if people with NO talent get tips on the streets versus people with TRUE talent. Presntly, you can have a sim at level 10 in guitar and another bum (sorry if it affends anyone) that is at level 0, get people watching them. That is a serious problem that needs being fixed and I hope this new EP will fix it, so that talented people get the attention and others get less notice until they too become talented.

There is a video on simprograms that has some more info on the genie.  You get a lamp and clean it and poof, a genie appears and of course there are wishes and they said, they are handy to have around the house, lol.
