A lot of people on the official forum are not happy with it at all.
I'd almost be prepared to bet money that they're getting annoyed at EA for giving them "Late Night version 2.0".
I think it was Fez who said this: If EA decided to put all of this in Late Night, then the game would have too many features.
I, for one, am personally reluctant about getting it due to SimPort, but I know many people are getting annoyed for the release of "Late Night 2.0", and claim that EA don't listen. If EA didn't listen, would they still be in business? Part of a good customer base is giving them what they want - spotting a gap in the market and filling it. The way people are thinking is that EA isn't listening by giving people Seasons, or by giving them what they should've done in an earlier product (Showtime and Late Night) - truth is, EA is
trying. They're only a company, they're not a SuperCompany that can do everything. EA has a budget, like any other company, so if we decide "Nope, they don't care about us" and stop buying products because we "should've got it earlier", EA could (theoretically) run out of money and never be able to produce stuff that we "want" - and then what will happen? Maxis will tank with EA, and The Sims could be sold to another company - and would we buy The Sims 4 from Activision?
I'm sorry if this can be classed as "EA Bashing".
