Thanks Pally! It will be fun to play a singer as they can deliver singing telegrams. The magician also look like a lot of fun. :D

In the linked article, it hints that you may be able to have sims die through magic!

It certainly does make me think a Sim can die during a magic trick.  I'm thinking something like a trick with swords that goes horribly wrong.  It's a real life magic trick, not a fantasy magic trick.  There's a contortionist in those boxes and if she doesn't contort the right way at the right time, the sword could do terrible things.

I think the expansion pack looks fun.  It's going to bring a whole new experience to the game.  I think I'll like it.

I agree, even though I'm not really up for the social stuff (and find it unfair you must use it to get special probs and things), I am really excited about the singing and magicians and stuff like that! I do think that if it's possible to die during a magic trick, that will probably the first thing my sim will do, trying this. My sims die all the time while repairing stuff. XD

Just give them the handy trait! :) I hope there will also be a trait with this EP that prevents sims from dying through magic.

I will try that and I hope a trait like that will show up, but seeing the other expansions I think it will. ^_^

I assume, the daredevil trait will come in handy for this. Daredevils don't die from getting caught on fire, so my guess is that they will make excellent fire breathers.

Pam, what exactly are you implying with the swords? I'm not sure if death from sharp objects are appropriate for a T for Teen Rating.  :-\

I think Pam means that if a magician does the trick with the swords in the box with a person in it, might be the new death. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have to make the game a higher rating as you probably would just see the ghost come out the box.

I wonder if this is the case, if playable Sims can be the assistant or if assistants will only be NPC's  :-\  If playable Sims can be the assistant and it is a new way to die, then I guess you would need to be sure the magician has a high enough skill level lol

Thank you for clarifying that. I was thinking something different. Phew!

The Hidden Immune To Fire hidden trait also prevents sims to die from fire. I would choose  that above the Daredevil traits. As Immune To Fire is hidden, if won't take up a extra slot in the traits list and sims have still five traits left to choose from.

I'm sure their will be new traits that suit the professions and also lifetime rewards.
